History

Established in 1994.

After cooking several years for church functions, Millie Wilson became interested in the catering business when one of the church members asked her to cater a very special dinner in her home. After that and with much encouragment she went back to school, got her culinary degree and launched her business, Angelfood Catering & Personal Chef Service, that serves clients in Austin and surrounding areas.

As the owner of Angelfood Catering & Personal Chef Service for the past 20 years, Chef Millie Wilson has spent this time developing a culinary reputation of which she can be proud.

Millie Wilson grew up in the kitchen and has always cooked.

As a young girl, she would watch her grandmother cook for the hired hands. She began her culinary education not only cooking, standing on a chair, but raising the meat and vegetables she cooked. She says, «I enjoy cooking and discovering new recipes and original flavors in foods. Apart from a few classics, I love searching for new ideas and recipes and my recipes tend to reflect a healthy approach.» Millie now makes a living by cooking custom meals for time-​strapped families and professionals.

As the owner of Angelfood Catering & Personal Chef Service for the past 20 years, Chef Millie Wilson has spent this time developing a culinary reputation of which she can be proud. Angelfood Catering is currently known throughout Austin and surrounding areas for its diverse range of foods and for the ability to design any menu to accommodate customers’ needs.
