Arirang Korean Restaurant

So good, so spicy, so full!
I was feeling Korean so I did a quick search on Unilocal and found Arirang Korean. I came out on a Tuesday evening and the place was relatively empty. Inside, they are blasting the AC which is great when its nice and toasty outside. Also, for how spicy my meal was, it was the perfect addition. The waitress was incredibly friendly and had water at the table within seconds.
I ordered the combination chigae soup which was fantastic. The meal also came with all the traditional sides which all tasted great and were the perfect fit for a nice hot dish. I will definitely be coming back to try the bimbibop!

I have eaten here several times before, and thought it was a good place to bring my out of town guests here for a meal. I called around 11:30am to make a dinner reservation for my group at 8pm that same day. When we arrived, they said they had forgotten all about my group reservation. We were ushered into a small room in the back, and the waitress hurriedly started tidying up the room, like picking up little bits of trash and wiping the table. The waitress kept making excuses that she forgot we were coming. She seemed very indifferent and didn’t smile either. When we had a question about a menu item, she said she didn’t know as she is new there.
When our food came, one of the dish was not what we ordered. We specifically ordered a certain kind of this dish, but the waitress insisted we did not specify which kind. She said that because we didn’t specify, she made an assumption and brought us the other kind, which we didn’t want. We told her that we did specify when we ordered. After a short pause, she asked if we can just eat the dish as it came out, and then she hurriedly walked out of the room. I walked out of the room and went to the front cashier’s desk, and asked the lady there to switch out the dish to the one we actually ordered. That waitress was nearby and she again made excuses that we did not specify when ordering. I repeated again that we did order correctly. Then they went to the kitchen and found out that they didn’t have any more of the ingredient and can’t make another one of that kind of the dish. Although they apologized, they sort of hinted me to just take what I got, so I just went back to the room. Shortly after, the lady at the front desk came into the room and profusely apologized as well as offer us to select another menu item free of charge. She came in a couple times after that to apologize again and to check if the food was okay.
About an hour after the meal, those of us, including myself, who ate bibimbap, started having stomach pain and rashes on our necks. One person’s rash got pretty bad and also had bad diarrhea. Something must have been wrong only with the bibimbap because the rest of my group, who ate other dishes, were just fine. The rashes left ugly red scars on my neck. Overall, my group and I were not too happy about this dinner. I will not be returning here from now on.

Wonderful meal last night at Ari Rang Korean Restaurant. We had two versions of Bibimbap, a sizzling rice and vegetable bowl with goodies added. I had the Pork Bulgogi bowl and Jane had the Beef Bulgogi bowl.
Both were served in stone bowls — the rice kept sizzling and added a wonderful crunchy element to the dish.
We were served with about 8 sides — everything from fresh sprouts to kimchi.
Service was fine. No problems there. The restrooms were spotless.
Zero ambience but that is not why we came there.
Prices are very reasonable — even with a very generous tip, we came out for less than $ 15 each.
We are fans and will return often.

This the best Korean now I have had so far (tried a few places here and in Dallas). They don’t charge extra for lettuce! Food is great, ladies here are so nice!!! We got the short ribs and brisket for bbq! So good I can’t stress it enough!

This place is a solid 3 and a half stars but my sister loves it so much I’ll give it that extra half.
The people here are super friendly, that’s the biggest thing I noticed. Although the food takes a while to get out (it seems as though there are only 2 people working there whenever we go), the people working are always very nice to us.
Décor isn’t anything spectacular, although I do think it could do with some cleaning up. I feel as though every time I’ve been I’ve struggled with the issue of stickiness.
Regardless, the food is really good, we try different things every time and really enjoy it. My sister’s personal favorite is the pork bibimbop which comes with tons of sauce and has a little kick to it. And I like the beef bulgogi bibimbop which has a sweeter sauce.
Pro tip, if you let it sit for a while you end up with some crunchy rice to munch on at the end.

Atmosphere surely leaves a lot to be desired, but it’s an Asian restaurant so I’m not all that surprised. It’s funny because it looks like you should be sitting in booths, but instead they’re chairs enclosed in a booth-​like area.
Everyone ordered the spicy cold noodles because it was a hot day, and we were looking for something refreshing. The food came out pretty quickly (I mean it’s cold), and I wasn’t quick to snap a picture before the waitress started snipping the noodles 3 times. She asks you if you want her to cut it, and be sure that you say yes because those noodles are LONG.
I don’t know much about Korean cuisine, so pardon me as I try to describe this dish. You have thin gray noodles in a bed of red kimchi-​like sauce and. I want to say some kind of cucumber/​zucchini? …you get 1 slice (you read that right, ONE) of dry flavorless meat, and half (yes, half) of a hard-​boiled egg.
BUT you also get your banchan which came with more kimchi-​like dishes, and this potato side dish that was sweet and much-​needed after the same spicy, acidic taste from the cold noodles. Refills for banchan are free but you have to flag down the waiters.
Service was meh. Can’t expect much service from an Asian establishment either. The waitress never came by to check on us even though there weren’t that many people in the restaurant. My boyfriend’s water was empty and he drank half of mine before she came back and refilled his water halfway (yes, halfway) and it was when we had all finished our meals.
Was it an off day? Maybe. Would I get the spicy cold noodles again? Probably not. :(

I was super excited about this place, and most of the stuff we got was disappointing. I ordered a soup that was pretty bland, and the rice patties were not good. There was also this stringy egg stuff that floated on the top, which was also not good. We also got the pork bulgogi and it came out cold. The short ribs was my favorite thing we ordered, but it was only good in comparison to the other stuff, but not really worth going back for. A friend got the fish and said it was good, but I didn’t try it.

I’m no expert on Korean food however, I thought the bulgogi bowl here was incredible. Compared to Chi’lantro, this bowl was way better. It was served fresh and piping hot. I highly reccomend trying a bulgogi bowl if you enjoy the bowls at Chi’lantro.
–1 for slightly dirty atmosphere and outdated seating/​table. However the food was great

Service is good but the food can definitely be better! I do like it here more than Manna or any other Austin Korean food places but it still can’t compare to the Korean food in Dallas!

I came by three times and every single time, the ladies here are very very kind and comes by frequently to check up on how your experience at the restaurant is.
Food:
Reasonable prices for the food. I personally like the Cold Noodles here more than the other soup selection. In Manna, I was able to taste the MSG but here it’s either very little or hardly noticeable. I’ve come by three times total– the first time, I ordered one of their tofu/​soondubu soup and I finished my food fine but it had a bad aftertaste to it. I’m going to be honest, I felt sick and had a mini throw up because I could smell rags in my mouth (as if they boiled rags with the soup).
It was really unpleasant and I never wanted to come back. But, my sister and I were looking for good Naengmyun (Cold Noodle) places and I ended up giving it another try. The Cold Noodle came out really good and the water in it was icy and really cold– just like it should be.
I really liked my second visit and decided to come back for the third time. I brought my boyfriend here telling him the Cold Noodles here is phenomenal (compared to Manna) and that it’s probably the best shot we have in Austin. Yeah, our food came out. And it was good but not as good as my first time. My Cold Noodles came out cold but not at all icy. And the meat in the soup was really soggy and tasted like an eraser… My boyfriend got the Spicy Cold Noodles (Bibim Naengmyun) which came with a cup of meat broth. He tried a sip and didn’t eat it at all after bc it was so cold and not heated.
Overall, food is okay. I hope it was more consistently good.

They have their own parking lot and parking is really easy to find. Also, lots of seating here and you’d never have to worry about getting seated with a big group.
I’m sure I’ll come back when I’m in Austin and craving Korean food I can’t make. This place has so much potential, I’m really hoping my next experiences are better and the food becomes more consistent.

I can say it is ranked up there in Korean food for Austin. I usually have low expectations when going out to eat korean food in Austin but a visit really gave me hope. The service is not too bad nor is it good. The prices are fairly reasonable with the quality of food you are getting. I wasn’t disappointed. I had the cold buckwheat noodle which came out to about $ 8 and it was delicious!
If you are wanting Korean I would recommend taking a visit to this place. Don’t expect great customer service though.

Tried this place out for the first time w a to-​go order. The food was packed well & more importantly tastes great. I ordered Kim chee-​jigae & bulgogi — Both taste great. As any Korean food fan knows, the side dishes are a huge part of the dinner. My only issue is that the «side dishes» with my to go order were pretty skimpy. What I have tastes great — just not much — Esp when compared to seeing all the side dishes at the tables of customers eating-​in. Looks like I’ll need to try dinner at the restaurant next time.

I was reading reviews for this place the other day for fun, and then made my fifth trip here shortly after. I feel like almost all of the complaints on Unilocal about Arirang are concerning the service. All of my past visits were with people who spoke Korean, so I had never noticed that I guess, as similar people definitely treat each better, and that’s very, very true at Asian restaurants. However, on this particular visit, it seems like the owners had actually read all of the reviews here. The server came very often to ask if everything was okay, whether I needed more sides, to refill my water, etc. Not only that, the owner also walked around talking to all of the customers in the restaurant; I actually mentioned the Unilocal reviews to him as I was paying, and he talked to me a few minutes about the place and his story. This particular day might have actually been the best customer service I’ve seen at a Korean place.
Anyways, about the food now. For some reason, the sides are always my favorite part when dining at Korean restaurants. The potatoes and eggplants were excellent. I don’t think I’ve actually had that eggplant side anywhere else. Got a large refill on both of those. I normally don’t like the original kimchi too much, but the stuff here was really good. I think I saw a few reviews mention that the kimchi wasn’t fresh or whatever, but that wasn’t true that day. The menu is pretty extensive and definitely has more authentic options than some of the other places around Austin. I usually just get a soup here since there are so many different ones. Had the Manduguk this time, and if you like dumplings, you’ll love the dish. Will be back. Pretty sure the owner said he was giving me a free meal next time he saw me after we talked, lol, and as he said many times that night, «G.I.s don’t lie.»

Best bimbap I’ve ever had. Great banchan. Everything was just really flavorful. I asked for some red paste sauce (gochujan? Sol?) on the side and they brought a bunch, not that the bimbap needed it but it was even better with it on top. I’ll be coming back here a lot.

I do not understand the high reviews on this place. I was so excited to eat here and was so disappointed.
We ordered 3 entrees and only one was good, not great.
Pork bulgogi — good, a little oily, but decent. Lots of cabbage mixed in, which would have been okay but It was a lot.
Duk bokki (Korean rice cakes) — this is such an easy simple street food and i was so disappointed. The sauce was runny, the duk (rice cake) wasn’t cooked well so the texture was off, and again with the cabbage. Lots. It doesn’t traditionally have cabbage, and it would be okay to have some, but it was so much! And it wasn’t seasoned well.
Agu jiim (monkfish stew) — this is my favorite Korean dish. I didn’t even eat it. I left it behind. I was so excited to order it, I was going to take ½ home because it’s a 2 portion meal, but hated it. I couldn’t even take it home and re-​season it because it was so over cooked that the fish was so dry and the bean sprouts were so soggy. 24.99 and i took a few bites. I’m not a picky eater. I know Korean food and just because it’s not great doesn’t make it inedible. This was inedible.
Ban chan (side dishes) — kim chee has no flavor. Fish cake and bean sprout was ok. Seaweed salad was good. The rest was just filler.
They were nice, when they came by. Got no refills. No one even checked on us. Ever.
Won’t be back.

Goodbye Wan Fu, Hello Arirang! Some friends and I came here for dinner recently and it oddly was very reminiscent of ol’ Wan Fu. It was a weeknight but was pretty busy and seemingly only had one person working on the floor, weird. Service was on the slower side but the food made up for it. We had a Kimchi pancake and dumplings. Both were beyond delicious. The server served me something other than what I had ordered but I kept it and it was quite good. You seriously can’t go wrong with Bulgogi. Post meal, the slow service once again reared it’s ugly head as we waited for probably 15+ minutes to get our checks. I’ll definitely go back but hopefully they had a bit more staff or at least more attentive ones working.

I have eaten at a lot of Korean restaurants in Dallas and was excited to try some in Austin when visiting family. While this isn’t the best Korean fare I’ve ever had, it was very good (good-​sized portions, good flavors, good banchan) plus came with very diligent attention from the owner — he literally read us every menu item he thought we as white Americans would actually enjoy, lol. I think we surprised him by already knowing a thing or two about Korean cuisine and not being afraid of the Korean level of spicy. We had a great time and left stuffed to the gills but still had leftovers! I think they have won our «go-​to Korean restaurant» designation. (We tried Korean Grill on Lamar a few weeks later and all agreed Arirang was way better, and won’t give Korea House our business since they charge for banchan refills.)

After visiting South Korea it’s hard to find comparable Korean food in the States, but Arirang is decent, and out of all the Korean food in Austin, I prefer this location.
The prices are affordable, staff is always very friendly and attentive, and the food is pretty good.
The seolleongtang soup is really good here — every time I am sick I will come here and feel much better after eating it! I also enjoy their bibimbap. The Daeji bulgogi is a bit greasier than I would like, but the regular bulgogi is good.
If you’re looking for a place to get your Korean food fix this is an awesome place to stop by — wide menu, and affordable prices.

Arirang or Aha Rirang? Either way, go. I’ve eaten here five times, once for dinner and the other times for lunch, and this place is becoming one of those restaurants where I want to make it a mission to try everything on the menu.
For dinner, I ordered the standard kimchi jigae, which was a very solid representation of this tofu and veggie (and here, one hunk of pork) stew-​soup that comes in a mini-​cauldron bubbling and angry red from the kimchi’s chile paste. The spice heat level was satisfyingly sinus-​clearing; the preceding banchan very good with crisp, well-​seasoned vegetables and triangles of scallion pancake; and the rice, the RICE! There’s something about expertly cooked rice that makes me obsessive. Each grain of rice in the little reflective metal bowl was like a sticky, polished pearl. Usually I try to save the calories for more exciting fare, but I ate every kernel, and the memory of this rice has been dancing in my food daydreams ever since. My husband ordered the dolsot bibimbap, and he seemed quite satisfied with its generous portion of succulent pork mixed with crispy rice and runny egg.
For lunch, which features good deals – about $ 2 off – on many of the regular menu items, my husband got the bibimbap ($ 6.99), which along with the pork and fried egg has lots of various raw veggies. That plus the six kinds of banchan we shared made him decry his lunch a «screaming deal.» Feeling under the weather with a cold, I ordered a chicken broth soup that floated egg strands, pork dumplings, and strips of pulled dryish beef. It was extremely satisfying, especially the flavorful chicken broth and plentiful dumplings, which tasted of pork and ginger and held together in the liquid – a much more restrained soup than the jigae, good for someone avoiding spice heat.
Order the housemade dumplings, which are screaming with flavor from all the oniony aromatics squeezed into them.
I’ve found the service perfectly adequate. The staff are smiling and warm, and the husband of the head cook has given us good tips on what to order for next time. The ambience is interesting with Korean television playing on one of the two tvs in the dining room.

No one (in Austin) does it better – not even your theoretical Korean g-​ma. Despite what a few others have said, I found the flavors to be exactly like those I experienced in Korea. Very authentic in my opinion.
I visited Arirang for lunch with a buddy of mine. We were seated instantly and the food came to the table within 5 – 10 minutes of ordering. The service is fast, dependable, and efficient and I didn’t have to ask for anything more regarding the meal.
If you’re visiting Austin and looking for a Korean fix, you can’t go wrong! I have zero complaints, and will definitely be back.

By far the best Korean food in Austin. Great service as well. It’s a long drive from where we live in Bee Caves, but it’s worth it.

Arirang has got it DOWN. The food is amazing. A constellation of tiny bowls of delicious pickled things were complimentary with dinner. The toasty crusty rice from the hot bibimbap bowl was so good! side note: The K-​Pop made me want to blow my brains out, but the food made up for the aural torture. More people, eat Korean food.

I always get the spicy tofu soup at every Korean restaurant. The lunch special gives you the choice of beef or seafood. I’ve tried both and they are pretty solid. Arirang also gives the usual sides and refills them periodically. Service was quick and polite. There’s also kpop blaring the whole time, which is either educational/​weird if you don’t know much about it or awesome if you’re a fan.

Had the octopus plate last time, I forgot what it was called, but it was excellent. I’m from Florida, so I know fresh tasting fish and Arirang was extremely fresh. It came on a sizzling hot plate and I ate it all.
I also had the tofu soup with beef and it was delicious as well. It was a lot of food, so don’t feel like you need to over order because of the low prices.

Have been to South Korea many times and have enjoyed the unique style of Asian cooking many times. This family restaurant succeeds at delivering tasty and authentic Korean food at a very reasonable price. I had the classic Beef Bulgogie, my reference dish for Korean food and it was great. The beef was very tender, well marinated, and flavorful, mixed with small amonts of onions and other chopped vegetables. It was served on an iron heating dish in the form of a cow. The service came out on a cart with 8 side items including rice, excellent Kim chi, green bean, string boiled potatoes, a seafood noodle (very tasty), steamed broccoli, and a couple of other Kim chi style vegetables. I could not eat it all and took a lot home. Service was good. The décor is modest with contemporary Korean songs and a television with a Korean news station (in English). I saw many Korean patrons there enjoying the food. I definitely plan to go back with others.

Really good! Great service and authentic food. For what you are paying this like stealing! Do not be surprise by parking is empty. (I was bit suspicious when I got there about 1:00 for lunch)

So the sign on the building says AHA RIRANG and the name of this restaurant is ARIRANG? I’m a little confused but no biggie, Apple Maps directed me to the correct location via the Unilocal app.
The interior is comparable to other Korean restaurants in Austin, not exactly elegant and modern but it’s cozy I guess. I noticed there were no air ventilation fans around like Korea House, but that’s okay because the Galbi served on a skillet was good. I think they have a better cut of ribs too, better than other Korean restaurants. The seafood soup dish was boiling hot when served, I can’t handle spicy so I can’t really comment on how it tastes but my mom thought it was alright. I should mention service here isn’t bad, but by comparison with other restaurants, it’s not exactly on par. The waitress did not check up on me after serving the food, I sat around waiting for the check. In retrospect I should’ve just hollered, my friend hollered at the waitress all of the time when I ate with him in Korea.
In a Unilocal review I read they like to play country music because «Americans like country music», nope not today. Just a bunch of K pop tunes. I’m not Korean, I don’t have the special Korean taste buds, so I can’t tell you that this is legit, but to me as an Australian born Vietnamese guy residing in Round Rock Texas, this place is one of the better restaurants for Korean food in Austin.

Looking for a Korean fix? Arirang is a cheap and decent restaurant to get this craving sated.
Having tried many many of the soups, braised meats and various side dishes, I can say ok
Trying to write a review for an average experience is really tough. So if you’re out of options and nearby with a craving give it a try.
Service wise you have your Korean servers who will try their best but sometimes they get a little stern with you.
Now if this place was to go only it would be amazing, Yo they gave me a double wrapped soup with utensils and side dishes perfectly tetris master placed in a box! Food and fun! Yay!

Right before my hub and I sat down, I told him I need to Unilocal this place. Before my visit yesterday I was going to give them 4 stars, but yesterday’s experience shot it down to two. It was our 5^th visit in the 5 months living in Austin, but now I don’t think I want to go back.
The kimchi wasn’t fresh, it was kind of bland and weird tasting. The kimchi pancake was thick and a tad mushy. My husbands pork bulgogi was bland and it tasted a little off. Not sure why it tasted off, but it just didn’t taste right. In addition, my beef spareribs were still raw! I had to spit out the bite I took and show the waitress that it was well undercooked. She took it back to get recooked. In addition, when she went to refill our water cups, I asked for a new cup since I noticed a fruit fly in my cup I already had. She never came back… My husband ended up sharing his water with me.

Small hole in the wall restaurant. But nice people and tasty food. Tried the pork bulgogi (first time), it tasted awesome. Didn’t realize that Korean food could be that spicy! Enjoyed it.

This place is pretty visible driving down Airport and had ample parking. So, that was nice.
I ordered NakJi DolSot, NaengMyun, Daeji Bulgogi and DaengJang Jjigae. We sat and waited what seemed like 30 – 45 minutes for everything to finally come out which is relatively long for an almost empty restaurant (we came at 11:30am). They all came out separately instead of together, the NaengMyun came last which I preferred to come out with my other food because I like to eat it as the staple food with everything else. (Service ²⁄₅)
The NakJi DolSot came out hot and sizzling how it should so the initial impression was good. Unfortunately, the dish tasted like it was neglected in the preparation and the squid was too rubbery. Good squid is supposed to be soft and tender. There was also not enough color in a DolSot dish. Usually, there are more things incorporated into it but this one lacked. The NakJi DolSot was a ²⁄₅.
The DaengJang Jjigae was decent. The base was rich and it’s all about the quality of the DaengJang so this dish was done well. ³⁄₅ because I have had better.
The Daeji Bulgogi came out sizzling and it tasted good. The marinade was a little on the thin side and I like it to be thicker. It was respectable and better than most Korean restaurants but Manna still has the best spicy pork bulgogi in town. I gave it a ⁴⁄₅.
As I mentioned earlier, I enjoy my NaengMyun as a staple dish but it came out last. So, it was already fighting an uphill battle. When it finally came out, the flavor was there and was iced well with cucumbers, radishes and a slice of meat. NaengMyun is a very simple dish but can be tricky to prepare correctly. They did a decent job on it overall and was a ³⁄₅.
All this said, this place was average to good food but seemed to compromise with the level of service available. It’s not a bad place to eat at. Sadly, most Korean food in Austin is pretty terrible so it makes this place look even better. I will keep going to Manna or here until I figure out what other dishes are done better, if any.

Service here was a little iffy right off the bat. Our waitress apologized. She was the only one working and no one let her know we were seated. There was no one else eating here and I thought that was a bad sign. Tons of to go orders were being picked up though!
This place is a little weird, but in a good way. There are Muslim things on the walls and country music playing in this Korean restaurant. «Americans like country music» was the reason her dad plays it according to our waitress. This truly is a family restaurant!
The food was good. I’ve never been super impressed by Korean food, but I could tell that the quality was high.

I didn’t have a bad experience here, but being a Korean, I cannot give this place more than 3 stars. Though I was very happy to be reunited with Korean food– and I certainly stuffed myself– I’ve had so much better at other places (well maybe not in Austin). So if you’re looking for subpar Korean food just because you miss it then don’t let the 3 stars prevent you from going to arirang!
Galbi (short ribs): I was disappointed that it came cooked, as opposed to the DIY style, but this could have been because of the anniversary special that was going on. The meat was a little too chewy and undercooked. There was also too much fat and not enough meat with the extremely little portion we got.
Nengmyun (cold noodle soup): this was probably the best part in my opinion. However, they originally got our order wrong and brought the bibim-​nengmyun. Also, I’m pretty sure the nengmyun is supposed to come out last and not before everything else comes out.
Dolsot bibimbap: this comes in a sizzling stone pot. However the egg was not as runny as I would have liked– It was a bit overcooked. Otherwise this was pretty good too because you usually can’t go wrong with this dish.
The side dishes were little and not the good kinds that I’m used to in other Korean restaurants back in Chicago. Service wasn’t that great either, but that’s expected in Korean restaurants.

I’ve been to this Korean restaurant twice and have enjoyed both times. It’s not super busy on the weekdays so I never had to wait.
I got the bibimbap. It’s a huge portion for a good price ($ 7.99). The vegetables are not stir fried, so in a way it’s a «healthier» bibimbap. It was still pretty good and I enjoyed their side dishes.
The service was decent. The waiter checked up on us a few times and was very friendly.

This spot has been on my bookmarks list furrrrrever! Finally on a cold day, when the ramen joint was closed, this popped back up on my radar. It’s in a little space that used to be WanFu 3 (RIP) and though the place is clean, the interior leaves much to be desired. That’s pretty typical though of Austin’s Korean restaurants (and maybe all korean restaurants?)
With Dora the Explorer blasting from the TV, we ordered a noodle dish with fish cake, the special dumplings and I got soft tofu soup. Everything came at random staggered times. The dumplings (meant to be a starter for us) came second, after my BFs noodle dish. My soup finally came after he’d finished his meal. It was all kind of wonky bust based on reviews, also expected.
Our dumpling, huge and stuffed and freshly made, also had a weird flavor. Almost like propane? Enough that we only really ate half. His noodle/​fishcake dish was great and pretty remarkable in that the noodles are all solid — no holes. Pretty fun until they cool down and become like chewing gum. My soup was a sight to behold. I got the lunch special and it arrived bubbling. Like molten hot lava with a raw egg in it. Curiously, the egg didnt really cook but i mixed everything up and waited til it looked just under surface-​of-​the-​sun temp. Though I’d not had that particular soup before, I’m not sure I would order it again. The spices were so thick that you had to chew them (like thick peppercorn.) The tofu is soft — like flan — so be warned. Also, the bon chon were uninspired.
Take my review with a hefty dose of salt because I can’t speak to the authenticity of these things. However, Cory can and Alicia can and I ate here despite their reviews. Given our really limited options for Korean food in Austin, this might still make a list — but not mine.
