I made a Saturday 12−2pm appointment on Thursday, and he never showed up, nor called. No answer on his phone. Nothing worse than a no show in the middle Saturday. Ruined my day plans!

I was very close to buying an entirely new refrigerator after the one I currently have started leaking inside. I had called Sears to come out ($ 70 service charge) and the guy took a look and said that he would have to order a part and with labor the total would be almost $ 350 to fix.
Turns out a line just needed to be defrosted and I was only charged $ 87 TOTAL by Austin Appliance. The service comes with a 60 day warranty in case it iced over again — nice! They were very professional on the phone when I booked the appointment and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Be careful on this one. The belt on my Kenmore dryer broke and so I called this company and asked what their rates were. He said that there was a $ 45 trip charge but the trip charge would be applied to the amount of the bill if he did the work. I asked what the hourly rate was and he said there was no hourly rate. This should have been a warning sign but I used but I used him anyway.
The charge ended up being $ 139.64 and he was here for less than an hour. I checked online at Sears and the belt ended up being $ 18.49. You do the math and decide. Now I know why he did not give his hourly rate. On top of this, he left the dryer vent unpluged when he left. It was not very difficult for me to reconnect but not very professional to leave it unplugged.
One more thing. On the invoice, it says AAA All Brand Appliances so I guess he has two names for his business.
