I am certified in the use of the Heimler Scale of Social Functioning, an instrument that can quickly assist clients to identify areas of life that hamper their ability to gain reasonable satisfaction in living. Once understanding is reached the client can be assisted to develop goals and strategies for improvement or cessation of specific difficulties. My role is to coach and support clients during the process.

Additionally, I offer walking sessions during which clients and I meet at various walk assessable areas in the Austin/​Bee Caves area. I am one of the few therapists in the Austin vicinity offering walk/​talk sessions. See my website for information on eco therapy; michael@​austinecotherapy.​com
