Austin Luxury Realty originally started out as Austin Luxury Leasing, specializing solely in apartment, condo, townhome and house rentals. After unbridled success over the first two years, multiple clients kept coming back, raving about the service they had received previously and asking us, «Can you help me with my home purchase too?». So we listened, retrained our agents, and become the premier company for luxury rentals AND sales in the central Austin area. Andrew Holbrook has been in or around the real estate industry for most of his life. Having served in many capacities including real estate development, construction and client representation, he has a broad understanding of all aspects of the real estate market. He uses this expertise to provide excellent representation for his clients whether buying, selling or leasing. He has a proven track record of helping his clients make sound investments.

I was having trouble finding a place to fit my budget and location preferences and I came across Kevin on a posting for a place l liked. He immediately responded to my email and after a lot of work on his end, personally showed me three apartment complexes, and my boyfriend and I chose one that he selected for us. He listened, worked with me even when it must have been difficult as I changed my mind about budget and housing style, and in the end found us our dream place. He was very helpful, straight to the point, and always kept our budget and needs in mind. Look forward to going to Kevin to help us find our next home and referring him to friends in Austin.

First, RUDE!
Second, DISAPPOINTING!
I contacted Kevin Lenarcic via Craig’s List posting. I sent him a detailed email about what I was looking for, i.e. budget, neighborhoods, # of bedrooms, pet policy, and amenities. His email reply: «Send me your phone number. I’ll send you the list.». Okay, I understand that people take precautions as there are illegitimate solicitors in cyber space. So, I sent him my cell phone number. His answer: «Send me what you are looking for, budget, bedrooms, etc» WTF! I’ve already sent him all the information in my initial email! Besides, he never introduced himself or greeted me with any kind of Southern kindness. Well, I took a deep breath, then I texted him the detailed information. Then, guess what? He NEVER REPLIED! He dropped me like a hot potato. I sent him another text asking for an update. He NEVER REPLIED!!!
Well, I surely hope this is not how all of the agents/​apartment locators at Austin Luxury Realty treat the clients. Unfortunately, my experience was RUDE and DISAPPOINTING.
I contacted another realtor (also, via Craig’s List) at Apartment Specialists. Scott Sledge responded to my email and has been incredibly helpful finding the right apartment for me. His meticulous and generous assistance, patiently answering all my questions/​demands, has alleviated my stress of finding a home in a new state (I am relocating from PA). Now, I am looking forward to moving to Austin!
So, if you are looking for a helpful and friendly realtor, stay away from Austin Luxury Realty and contact Apartment Specialists. Cheers!

We are new to the Austin area and were referred to Liz by a friend. She was more than helpful with finding is a place to rent. We started speaking with her months before our move and she helped us make our extremely broad search more specific. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Austin and its surrounding areas. We came out to visit about a month before our move and, although we were not ready to sign a lease yet, Liz met with us for an afternoon to help us choose an area. Liz Hart is the best realtor I could’ve asked for! As a first time buyer, I was very nervous to begin the process of searching for the perfect new home. Liz was happy to walk me through the entire process and make sure that I was fully informed of all of the nuances that come along with buying a home. She was always very organized in helping me with my search and never minded picking me up to search for places on a weekend or weekday.

Thanks a million, Unilocal,for helping us find Kelly Ladner at ALR. We were just looking for a rental, and it can be so stressful trying to get in to see places. Also, we are pretty picky and had some very fixed ideas of things we wanted (which can be tricky with rentals… it’s slim pickins out there). Kelly was so patient, showed us a bunch of places and was a total pleasure to talk to. If she was annoyed at my being so picky, I never knew it. She went above and beyond once we found a place to make sure nobody nabbed it out from under us. She’s very knowledgeable about the city and about what areas are good and which to steer clear of, and was a great resource for any questions we had when we were going over our lease. When the time comes to buy a place, we will definitely be working with her again.

After living at a place I wasn’t too fond of (for 1.5 years), I was definitely ready for a change of scenery. I initially tried to find a place on my own, but I kept running into roadblocks. As it was getting down to crunch time, I contacted CARLOS GONZALEZ-​CHAVEZ. We talked over the laundry list of what I was looking for, and within my first visit he found me EXACTLY what I wanted, and exactly in my price range!!! I ended up signing the lease right away for an amazing new place in a perfect location for a lot less than I had been expecting. (Without any pressure, either, I was simply that excited for it!) In addition, the new place provided a month free and waived my deposit fee. WOW!
My experience with ALR was absolutely fantastic, and I would highly HIGHLY recommend contacting Carlos if you’re looking for an apartment or condo. His knowledge of the city and connections with the leasing people at every complex made things so painless.

We had a mission laid out before us:
3 Days. 2 Out of Towners. 1 Apartment to find. And 1 realtor to help us do it!
When my boyfriend – Matt – and I decided to move to Austin from Cincinnati, we were very excited, but didn’t know a lot – outside of what House Hunters and the rest of the HGTV network can teach you. **SPOILER alert: it’s not as much as you think** We searched all over the interwebs for places to live, but really had no idea what the real estate market was like, what neighborhoods would best fit our needs, or how to really start the process. Then Patrick and Austin Luxury Realty came into the picture.
Even before we came down, Patrick was friendly, knowledgeable, and in constant contact with us. If we had any questions, we could always ask him; he even volunteered to go take pictures of any places we saw online, but wanted to see more of! As we came closer to our 3-​day lease hunt, Patrick set up a plan of action for us. Initially, Matt and I were concerned that we weren’t seeing enough places. Patrick had told us that he had exhausted the options that met our criteria, and that these were truly the best options. It was after seeing a few of the places that hadn’t made the cut that Matt and I first uttered a phrase that eventually grew into an anthem of the weekend, «Patrick was right!»
Patrick was and still is – we haven’t moved in yet and he always says, «I’m there for you until you move in» — someone who made house hunting in a strange city fun. After all was said and done, we sat down at a taco place he thought we’d enjoy near his office and just talked it all through. He objectively listed pro’s and con’s for our remaining choices, and we – the three of us – had a good discussion about it all.
As I said before, we haven’t moved in yet! But we are very excited to move and are grateful for the help Patrick provided us in our search!

I reached out to Gary when we had decided we were moving to Austin. He had really great advice about neighborhoods and apartments. Because we were only in town for one weekend to look at apartments, he even compiled a list of all the places he thought would fit into our requirements. It helped us narrow down which properties we were going to visit significantly.
