Jessica: She was helpful and followed up when it was needed. Then when it came to relaying information she was completely informed and never skipped a beat.
Then the movers, arrived at the time discussed and asked all the right questions. WILL & WILLIAM, it doesn’t get any better than that. They were quick and delicate. They took care of business and I could trust them to get the job done without a worry.
I will use them again, thank for for being such a delight, especially when moving is the worst.

I moved from Austin to Houston and had a great experience. Although the move took slightly longer than what I anticipated (I didn’t know how far my new apartment was from the loading dock!), the movers did a tremendous job making sure none of my stuff got damaged. I had a great experience with Austin Moving Forward!

We are glad we chose Austin Moving Forward as our moving company for our big move into our new home. Jessica was very nice and always returned our calls in a timely fashion. Cody and William showed up at our storage facility and struck us as extremely professional. They handled all of our items in a very careful manner and they made sure to exercise extreme caution when loading our items into their truck.
Upon arrival, they were extremely careful while unloading our items and transferring them into our home. What I appreciated the most was that both Cody and William made sure not to damage our wooden floors or dent/​scuff our walls when taking some of the larger items upstairs.
One small thing that Austin Moving Forward can improve upon is perhaps making a clearly visible sign on the street in the complex that their office is located in. Wanting to pay our deposit in person, we drove to their location, but were unable to actually find their office because of hard-​to-​find/​no signage. We did try to call and get a hold of them at that point, however no one was in the office at that time.
However, their professional customer service from beginning to end made up for this small inconvenience and we would most definitely recommend Austin Moving Forward to all our friends!

My family has used Austin Moving Forward three times since May 2015. We have been very pleased with the efficiency and friendliness of their moving professionals. Their pricing is very fair as well. We will continue to call them for any of our moving needs, large or small.

These folks are awesome! ! They offered us a good bid for helping my Mom move her things to a smaller home and in the same trip bring many of her items to my apartment in Austin.
Those two fellows who did the moving worked tirelessly for over half a day, all the while with cheerful countenance. Where Mom moved to was on the 3^rd floor with no elevator available and condo policy was that all trucks park in the rear… my Mom’s new condo is in the very front.
(I felt so badly for the guys that I ran down to the store and got them each a soda and water and chips.)
I returned to Austin ahead of the truck and once they finished delivering Mom’s stuff, they headed directly to my place.
It was a rather complicated day… and at one point I decided on something else from Mom’s old place so the fellows doubled back and added that furniture in as well.

These guys were great! Efficient and so polite, I felt comfortable the entire move out of the old and into the new home. Added plus they even moved around my furniture several times until I got the placement just right — very accommodating. Thank you Cody, Daniel and Edwin for the great job.

This is by far the best moving company I’ve ever hired to take care of the worst part of moving for me. Brent and Cody’s time management and efficiency saved me some serious money. Usually, I don’t do hourly moving costs because I always end up paying more than expected and I never know what I’m going to ultimately spend. But, these guys made it happen and I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed.

Austin Moving Forward was very accommodating for our move. We had to change our delivery day several times — no problem! We had a very challenging, steep driveway — no problem! The team was very conscientious about our newly painted walls and was gentile with our fragile items. A great experience with the team: Cody, Edwin & William.

I would highly recommend using Austin Moving Forward, especially for an out of town move. They were the most inexpensive out of town movers that I could find. Knowing that I needed to go with my cheapest option, I was hoping that the movers would do a decent job, but understand that you get what you pay for. I used them to move from Austin to Houston recently and my expectation were exceeded.
The two movers showed up on the early end of their window and got my entire apartment loaded into the truck within the quoted hour. All of my things were packed on the truck and safely transported to Houston without any damage. I was impressed by how friendly and professional my movers were, too. While one worked with me on paperwork, the other started gathering items to take to the truck. Every bit of their time was used efficiently.
Overall, I had an excellent experience with these guys and definitely recommend them for your next move.

We had to change the day of our move at the last minute, and the other moving company we had booked couldn’t accommodate the new day. Enter Austin Moving Forward.
They arrived on time with great attitudes. There was an issue with the reservation of the freight elevator at my building, so we had to share it with other movers, which resulted in a slightly longer moving time than expected. The Austin Moving Forward movers remained upbeat and positive the entire time despite the delay. In addition, no items were damaged during the move.
Moving sucks. Austin Moving Forward makes it suck a lot less. Thanks for a great move!

WARNING!!!
Worst moving company we have ever used! We got 3 quotes when we moved, and they were in line with all quotes we received. However, day of move they were late and brought 4 people but moved extremely slow which was totally unexpected as we have moved more stuff with only 3 movers in half the time. So slow that I made 5 trips in my SUV on my own to try and get it done while our kids were in school for the day. My husband was nice enough to even buy them a pizza and gatorades for lunch. Once they finally got everything on the truck they followed us to our new home and driver got out of truck and told us unless we paid them $ 900 more on the spot they were going to leave with all of our belongings. We called the police who came immediately and said just get your stuff off that truck now and worry about the money later… he said he has seen this happen several times with this company and a few others in town. So we had to get on the phone with the drivers boss and run our credit card to get them to unlock the truck. In the meantime, 1 of the young Hispanic movers left when they figured out the police were on the way, and we were left with 3 guys who were upset with us for calling the police. They reluctantly moved the rest of our stuff at a snail’s pace not finishing up until about 3 am. They broke our grill, our guest bed, our outside fridge and an antique china cabinet.
We were extremely upset about the entire experience and called the owner the next morning. Owner would not answer the day before when we were forced to pay extra. When we spoke to the owner and explained the situation, they were extremely rude and told us they would give us back $ 400 if we promised not to write any bad reviews. Got no reimbursement for all of our broken furniture. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

THIS COMPANY KNOWLINGLY TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE BY SUGGESTING AN HOURLY RATE AND UNDER QUOTING THE NUMBER OF HOURS. THEIR MOVERS ARE ALSO SLOW AND INPEXPERIENCED. WE WERE RIPPED OFF.
I am a seasoned mover and have moved 12 times in 20 years. When I called this company for a quote, I explained that they only needed to move ¹⁄₃ of my 4 bedroom house because ²⁄₃ had already been packed into crates by my husband and me. I had no appliances, no sofa or living room furniture. I literally needed to move two beds, two armoires, a farm table and some dining chairs and some boxes. They told me the move should take 4 or less hours (made sense to me because of what we had) and I agreed to an hourly rate. Two guys showed up on the job. One was older and experienced, the other was a high school kid who was «training.» They wrapped every piece and carefully moved, but used a truck with an electric ramp so that each and every one of the boxes/​furniture went down slowly in and out of the truck. Why didn’t they use a ramp? I’m not sure– as none of my furniture or boxes was heavy extra large. The process was slow and it took them 8 hours to load the truck. At $ 95 an hour, I was getting frustrated that they hadn’t even started unloading after all this time, so I called the company. They sent a 3^rd guy there and increased my hourly rate to $ 145. The move (¼ full truck) took 11 hours. When I called the owner to ask if he would adjust the rate since it shouldn’t have taken them that long, he offered nothing but a reduction in the 3^rd guy down to $ 125/​hr. So, in short, the move cost me $ 1200. And, I must mention that I was so annoyed that it took so long, that I asked the guys to move the stuff into my garage instead of into the house because I knew the 2 bedroom move job would have ended up being $ 2000? So now, I’m moving furniture myself from my garage into my house. I have always used Blue Whale in the past. I am sorry I didn’t use them this time– as I was trying to save money by using a hourly rate due to the small size of the job. Blue Whale moved me last time for $ 900 (my entire house with appliances and all furniture). They set up my beds and made sure all boxes were in the right rooms, along with furniture placement. Hiring Austin Moving Forward was a BIG mistake. I am planning to file a report with the BBB as I feel like I was taken advantage of. They have terrible customer service, inexperienced workers and they knowingly take advantage of customers. I paid the fee because they had me on the hook with a contract for hourly pay, but I was clearly mad and want everyone to know how terrible this company is.

A first-​class operation all the way through. My request for an estimate was answered almost immediately, and when they came for the first look, they were: 1) on time; 2) extremely polite; 3) impressively comprehensive and; 4) very up-​front about what I could expect. Everyone knows how exhausting a move can be, but I could tell almost immediately that we were in good hands

SO glad we used Austin Moving Forward for our move from Round Rock to Dallas! The estimator was great. He took his time to inventory my home and gave me an estimate that was over $ 500 less than the competition (I got 3 other quotes). Then when the movers showed up, they were very professional and careful with my belongings. I will definitely recommend them to anyone in need of moving services!

We recently moved and I wasn’t looking for any help initially, but I’m glad we hired Austin Moving Foward. The guys were soo nice and professional. I decided to move with them because they are a «Green Company.» My husband wasnt able to be there because of work and I have 2 small babies. They were on time, careful with my stuff, they explained everything to me, and were fast. They finished the move before the sun went down, and I have 3 bedrooms full! They even helped me load my carseat in the car, and setup all the beds and flat screen tv’s on the wall! Great job guys!
