Duck tour in Austin. Quickie tour around town, too-​messy-​for-​take-​out quesadilla for dinner (the reason for 4 stars rather than 5), wonderful live entertainment by singer Shelley King, ABSOLUTELY YUMMY sweet tea vodka (among other drinks) constantly flowing, and a visit to Mean-​Eyed Cat bar to finish the evening.
Great description of the city and stories about the lake and dam as we’re cruising around Lake Austin. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Really glad I got to go.

The Cosmic Cowboy Tour is the perfect way to see and experience the true spirit of Austin without having to lift a finger. The tour takes place on a duck boat, but is anything but cheesy and touristy. The fun filled evening includes local Austin made beer and cocktails to drink on the boat, live music from an Austin musician, and a drive around Austin while seeing the sights and learning about the city’s rich history. The tour is an absolute blast, the staff is there to make sure you have a great time, and the night usually ends at a cool Austin Saloon. This is a must-​do experience for any person visiting Austin or anyone who already lives here!

I had a group of 25 people in Austin for a CNN event, and decided on the Cosmic Cowboy tour as our fun evening event. I’d been on a DUCK tour before, and it was cheesily fun, but this was nothing like any duck tour I’ve been on!
I was BLOWN AWAY! It’s all the best of Austin rolled into one tour — great music, great food, great local alcohol and you get to see the city by land and by sea! Not to mention that Greg was so easy to work with, and we ended the night at a fantastic local music joint.
Would recommend this to anyone looking to see the best Austin has to offer, and I’ll do it again the next time I go back!

This is a fantastic option for small groups looking to have an «offsite» and local experience. The food is great, the entertainment is exciting and the atmosphere is most memorable. The tour is extremely organized and casual and a great way to get a real taste of Austin in all aspects.
