AV Automation specializes in home automation, home theater, and commercial AV systems. Our services include design, sales, installation, and integration of these systems. We are based in the Austin/​Central Texas area and also serve Dallas/​Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston.

Our team has over 35 combined years of experience in the Audio/​Visual industry ranging from residential and commercial sales and installation to home theater product development and manufacturing. We work with owners, architects, interior designers, and general contractors to ensure that a well developed plan is in place before we start. We strongly believe that providing honest and simple to understand information to you is the best route to successful projects and happy clients.

History

Established in 2008.

AV Automation was conceived by Aaron Reilly with the desire to bring mainstream Home Theater, Audio and Home Automation a higher standard of customization and simplicity. The team at AV Automation works hand in hand with clients, architects, and builders to integrate a multitude of different technology systems that work in harmony with each other and offer consumers ease of control from one simple to use interface.

Business Owner

Aaron Reilly (AVA President) was a founder and the Chief Technical Officer for Screen Innovations, an Austin based projection screen manufacturer. As co-​founder and director of all product development for Screen Innovations, Aaron brought to market many new projection screens and related products. The most notable product brought to market under Aaron’s management is the «Black Diamond Screen» by Screen Innovations which still today is the most optically advanced front projection screen in the world.
