Bubble Me Bubble Tea

Everything I want from a bubble tea vendor. The jasmine bubble tea was perfectly flavored and refreshing. The truck itself was adorably twee but not offensively so. Service was prompt and friendly.
There are a lot of flavor/​milk options available and the adorably-​twee-​but-​not-​offensively-​so girl working the counter will help you pick a great one if you’re very indecisive (which I am. Sorry for taking like five minutes to make a decision I’m sure most of your other customers make in less than thirty seconds, adorably twee counter girl)

Boba shops are meant to be cutesy; I guess this place definitely fits that bill minus the fact its in a trailer park. Sky blue painted trailer: Check. Adorable animé type looking girl somewhere on the cup or elsewhere: check. Adorable cat: bonus check.
All items include tax and they have a variety of syrup plus tea combinations. I got a blueberry bubble tea, and it was very strong on the blueberry, knock off your feet strong. At first that made me want to give this place a two. Then I slurped up a few chewy pearls and that changed my mind entirely: if you look your pearls more on the pliable side, this place is for you. Then I tried my friend’s honeydew bubble tea: not as sweet as my favorite place Teapioca, but sweet enough to be not overpowering with that milky but not heavy creamy taste.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area. They do take credit cards too, even though it seems like its just cash only. They also have korean shaved ice: I’m curious to what that is on the next trip here.

I glad this place exists somewhat close to where I live. I always get the strawberry tea with boba. The tapioca balls are perfect and the strawberry tea is not sweet nor bitter. It’s located in the small trailer park area of S. 1^st Street. Real nice people running the trailer.

If you like unsweetened tea mixed with milk, then this is your place. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of milk tea in my life and this place does not cut it.
I was excited to try a new milk tea place (My favorite place in Austin so far is Teapioca Lounge). The reviews on Unilocal seemed promising but I noticed that no one compared Bubble Me Bubble Tea to any other tapioca place. That made me anxious but I decided to try it anyways.
This place wasn’t hard to find as it’s along 1^st St. where a lot of other food trailers are. The employees seemed really nice and my drink came out quick.
I ordered the Black Milk Tea and I couldn’t help but gag after my first sip. They simply added milk to unsweetened black tea which is not how you make good quality milk tea. The drink just tasted watery with little flavor. The tapioca balls were too sugary in my opinion. If you’re going to run a bubble tea place, you should at least have decent normal milk tea. And to charge $ 3.50 for a small cup is not worth it.
Note that I only tried the black milk tea and not any of the other flavors (taro, fruity flavors), but just from my first experience I do not plan on going back.

So a few things about me: a) I love all things food truck related and b) I’m CRAZY about bubble tea. At long last, someone has read my mind and made this happen in Austin.
Located on South First, this little blue trailer serves up some mean bubble tea. I ordered my usual black milk tea and it was great, it had a good balance of milk to tea and the tapioca was perfect. I sampled a few of my friends’ flavored teas and it was well executed (not too syrupy or powdery like some flavored teas tend to be), but maybe a bit on the sweet side so watch out for that.
I appreciated the simple menu, speed and friendliness, and credit card abilities.

The mango bubble tea was far too sweet for my tastes. 4 dollars for a large tea.

Ive had better… its allright but I did like the pearls. they were good.

I looked all over Austin and this is absolutely the best bubble tea, and in fact the only place I would recommend, so far. Everyone said about it being delicious so I want to just add that the lady is also very *fast*. Drink is ready literally in a minute. There are a few other places I might like if I don’t have to wait more than 15 minutes for a drink, even when I’m the only customer, but factoring out efficiency this is my one place.
BTW I wouldn’t believe that this little trailer would be the place that motivates me to sign up and write my first review :)

After having some delicious pizza at Home Slice, my husband and I decided that bubble tea would be a good ending to our amazing lunch. I pulled out my phone and searched Unilocal for the nearest bubble tea place and this is what I found.
It’s a cute little blue trailer with a cat painted on it. Their menu isn’t huge, but they have the basics. I went with my usual Jasmine green tea and my husband got the mango tea. They charge $ 3.50 for a small and $ 4.00 for a large so I think it’s pointless to get a small. The large is the standard size at most bubble tea places.
The lady was VERY nice. She was quick in making our drinks. I felt like my Jasmine tea had more milk than tea (since the flavor wasn’t as strong as I’d have liked) but it was great nonetheless. During my next visit, I plan on asking her to make it without the milk because lately that’s how I’ve been preferring my bubble tea. My husband, on the other hand, LOVED his mango tea. I took a sip of it and it kind of tasted like a mango shake.
The tapioca balls were the highlight of the drink. I’ve had bubble tea at a lot of places but I’ve never had such tasty tapioca balls! Usually they have little to no taste but these seemed to taste so good! Maybe it was sugar in them? Who knows. All I know is that they are the beast tapioca balls we’ve ever had.

Pretty great place. I’m into Bubble Tea, and I could tell this was definitely top-​line quality. Even got the cover-​wrapping machine thing going on. Hours seem good enough and open most of the times I pass by there (I live across the street).

First I would like to say I have not tried boba in any other places in Austin because they are all alway so far. But my bubble tea experiences come from living in CA, NY and from visiting so many other places so I’ve had my experiences with amazing drinks to really shitty ones.
Bubble Me Bubble Tea is easily on the top 3 on my list.
The tea is Harney & Son so it’s amazing.
But the best part for me is really the tapioca.
The tapioca is … PERFECT! Perfect texture, perfect taste, perfect combination with the drink. I dont know what they do to the tapioca but you can tell they pay attention to what they serve to people.
I’m glad their list of flavors are not overwhelming because study says that people are less satisfied with their choice when there are too many options. And I think the selection of flavors is perfect.
Speaking of flavors… they are fantastic! I’ve tried Taro like every time and when I finally decided to let go of my first love, I tried Matcha and now I’m in a complicated relationship with both of them. I bet their other flavors are fantastic too but I dont’ think I can handle the mind explosion of having to decide between 3 delicious flavors. I’ll work my way up to it.
When I took my boyfriend to this place and he said it’s really the best bubble tea he’s ever had. If I remember correctly, he also said, «If I ever have balls in my mouth it’s definitely going to be from Bubble Tea Bubble Me.»

This place is so cute! In case you missed it, there is a cat painted on their trailer. ADORABLE.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a little while, so I decided to treat myself today since I cleaned my entire apartment. Reward systems are great! I got a small jasmine bubble tea for $ 3.50 and it was delightful. It was perfectly sweet and very tasty — it didn’t have that powdery taste that some bubble teas do. The tapioca balls were great, too! They had that wonderful chewy texture to them.
I really enjoyed my bubble tea and I’m looking forward to more! They have quite a few flavors, so there’s something for everyone. They also offer flavored iced teas, shaved ice, and bing-​su.
This is such a nice treat on a hot summer’s day and I am so excited that this trailer is just down the street from my apartment.

I was so excited to hear that a new Bubble Tea trailer had opened on South 1^st, and I was not disappointed when I tried it out today. The menu has enough variety without being overwhelming, and the prices are reasonable. The guy working there was nice and helpful when I was trying to decide which tea to order. I got. Lychee green tea with bubbles, which was very good. They also have bing su, a Korean shaved ice type of dessert. I will definitely be back soon.

I stumbled upon Bubble Me Bubble Tea this afternoon completely by accident. I saw a sign on a sandwich board and decided to try it. And what a good decision it was. I got the taro bubble tea and it was deeeeeeeelicious. So refreshing, not too sweet, not artificial tasting, and the price was reasonable. Plus they use Harney & Son tea! Yup, you read right… the same tea they serve at the ultra posh Dorcester in London, the Four Seasons hotels, etc.
The customer service was also very good. Both the girl working in the afternoon, as well as the young man working in the evening were friendly, helpful, and attentive.
Because I had such a positive experience earlier in the day, this evening before heading out to work, I decided to sneak by to see if they were open and sure enough they were, so I indulged and got yet another taro bubble tea.
I think this place is going to be my official beverage spot. Look forward to going back many, many times.
