Captive Audio was established in 1994 by Scott Benkendorfer and his partner with the mission to deliver 5-star A/V and home integration systems to fit every client’s unique lifestyle. Today, we strive to stay true to that mission and are present before, during, and after the life of a project to ensure customer satisfaction.

Business Owner
Scott and his partner founded Captive Audio, Ltd. in 1994 with the mission to deliver 5-star A/V and home integration systems to fit every client’s unique lifestyle. For the last 21 years, he has been passionately charting the course of the company and has been instrumental in its growth and success. Scott received a BA in Economics from the University of Texas– Austin. He has a beautiful wife of 20 years, four boys, and an energetic dog named Rocket. In his free time Scott enjoys spending time with his family, fly-fishing and watching and coaching his boys in their many sports activities.
