Mopsie has been in the Restaurant and Catering industry in Austin for over 50 years. She is the daughter of Rudy Mikeska, of Rudy Mikeska’s BBQ in Taylor, Tx. Mopsie owned and operated her fathers restaurant and catering business which had been established since 1945. Mopsie sold the restaurant and opened a state-​of the art catering kitchen capable of feeding up to 20,000 people per day. Today «Catering By Mopsie» is one of the largest catering companies in Central Texas.

Mopsie’s son, Bobby Cavo is the owner of Catering By Mopsie. Bobby has worked with this mother in the restaurant and catering business since he was a little boy and has a passion to continue his mothers legacy of being a top caterer in Austin. Bobby has been in the Industry for over 20 years and is also the owner of Blue Ribbon Barbecue located in at 4^th and Brazos Downtown Austin.
