History
Established in 2011.
Dr. Harris is Board-Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and Pain Medicine. He has extensive training in interventional spine procedures and has been using these techniques since 1996. As of 2014, he has performed more than 20,000 interventional spine procedures, and approximately 100,000 regenerative injection procedures. Dr. Harris served as Medical Director for St. David’s Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas from 1992 – 2001. He has been an adjunct associate professor at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Harris has taught interventional spine techniques including regenerative injection therapy to many physicians nationally and internationally, including physicians from Mexico, India, Croatia, Canada, Peru, Costa Rica, and Argentina. Carrie was raised and spent all of her life in Ohio before moving to Austin in 2010. She studied at Case Western Reserve University where she majored in Political Science, Business, and Economics with minors in English and Communications.
With an extensive background in the clinical and administrative roles for integrative and allopathic medical practices, Carrie has a well-balanced knowledge of both the practical and management sides of operations that she effectively translates into efficient clinical operations and fiscally responsible management practices. Carrie has a strong belief in team building and employee development. This allows for active company growth through positive employee environments and morale, which in turn promotes an unparalleled providing of exceptional care for the patients of CHARM.
