In an effort to de-​clutter the home office I went through and gathered old files, papers, documents etc. Amounted to about 6 trash bags worth – called around and everyone wanted between $ 60 and $ 150 to shred it – even if I brought it in. I went by Centex Shred on Rutherford Lane, the gentleman inside, Peter, was kind and gracious and cranked up the truck for me and they threw my bags in the bin and let me watch as it got shredded. Very cool and the whole thing took about 3 minutes. Cost $ 15!
If you have a bunch of paper and sensitive documents lying around, bag it up and take it to these folks. Seriously, go there now.
