CG&S Design-​Build is a high-​end Austin residential remodeling firm specializing in full-​service design and construction services. Started as a family business over 50 year ago, CG&S was founded on a culture of loyalty and dedication to hard work — delivering the highest quality product to our clients. Since then, CG&S has grown into a locally and nationally recognized design-​build company with hundreds of projects under its belt, but we haven’t forgotten our homegrown roots. CG&S strives for perfection with every client, no matter the size or scope of the project. At our core, CG&S is a group of individuals who work collaboratively toward one sole purpose: making great homes.

History

Established in 1957.

Clarence and Stella Guerrero founded CG&S in 1957 and brought their eight children up within the company (CG&S’ name is derived from «Clarence Guerrero and Sons»).

With Clarence’s construction skills and Stella’s managerial savvy, they developed a remodeling company with a solid reputation for both quality and reliability.

In the 1990’s the company was sold to the children; Billy Guerrero became President and lead estimator while Dolores Guerrero Davis became General Manager. Her architect husband Stewart Davis joined the team in 1994 and established CG&S’ design studio.

Hundreds of projects later, CG&S has perfected its design-​build process, and is recognized throughout Austin and the nation as an award-​winning design/​build company– one with the same reputation for quality and reliability that Clarence and Stella Guerrero began over fifty years ago.
