This place was jammed packed this past Saturday. Looks like they booked all the birthday parties in same slot. A lot of the machines were not working or broke. Some machines worked when they want to. The food was decent though. The wings were the best thing.

This location was horrible. The staff took forever to clean empty tables for incoming customers to occupy. There was overcrowding and the restrooms were terribly dirty. I would NEVER go here again.

Had our son’s 2nd birthday party here in March 2015. It was absolutely a blast for everyone invited to the party. I had a very good, involved and upbeat hostess who helped me from the moment I called in advance weeks before to plan the party, to the day of the party when she was on site and ready to do this thing. And I believe the head manager of the location even came around asking if there was anything he could do to make the party better, and was seen asking the hostess the same thing. It was great that he did that. I think for the price compared to other places you can have a birthday party, this one just has the best bang for buck and best deal, especially for children under 10 years of age. We had a birthday party for one of our other sons some years ago at this location and even that went very well. If I could do a cost/benefit analysis of the time and money put into preparation for this party and the results of the party, I would say the benefits far outweigh the cost. There are three different birthday packages you can choose, and I think they’re all good. We still have a whole bunch of tokens my son can still come back and use for games. Chuck E. Cheese’s will definitely work with you, and I would have another birthday party here again.

Up north austin’s development shifts from downtowns new hipster cafes to new landscaped big box capitalistic amusement park. For my Neices fifth birthday, my brother chose Chuck E Cheese, since their house was undergoing a major renovation and they were living in a hotel. We had a few parties at chuck e cheeses as kids in the eighties, and the modern version seemed perhaps a bit«cheesier» with less video games for teenagers like Galaga or Pac Man, and more simple, if boring games, like skee ball, and, on the odder side, a human hamster wheel. The games were decidedly more suited for preschoolers, including stationary robot horse rides, and a photo booth. The food wasn’t as bad as I had quinced, with the fried processed mystery meat chicken nuggets, in chemical coated flavors like bbq and spicy buffalo, described as chicken wings, lost out over the thin sliced cheese gluey pizza. The kids had fun, and were engaged with with winning tickets for cheap plastic toys. Our birthday package came with a live visit from Chuck E who was introduced by a brilliant crisp futuristic prevideoed«host». “Cheap labor, and they don’t have to worry about him inappropriately touching the kids.” I remarked to my brother, who laughed. Chuck E entered with a prompted applause from the video host and stayed for the birthday candle blow out wish. We got to bring our own cake, and we didn’t have to clean up or prep much, but otherwise I’d prefer something a little more creative or down to earth like a simple picnic in the park. Not my first choice for a kids party, but in a pinch it works.

Management what are you thinking? I’m a father with 2 young girls. How am I supposed to take them to them to the bathroom with no family restrooms?!? The men’s rooms is nasty and needless to say I can’t use the ladies room with them! WTFWTFWTF horrible business practices!!! So disappointed in how you run your company.

We got here at 11 to beat the crowds. Walked right in. Empty. Had to wait about 5 mins before anyone came to Register to take our order. We ordered number 4. Which is 2 large pizzas. 4 drink and 80 tokens for 49.00. It was about 30 minutes for 2 pizzas. Horrible wait time. Cashier offered to make them xl for 3.00 more. I had to ask 3.00 total or each pizza. She works here. Not me. Give me all the information Also. I used to love coming here for the cherry coke on fountain. yuck. They changed to pepsi products

There is a group of people who frequent this place with the goal of stealing from customers. The manager is aware but does nothing to help. After one of our party’s phone was stolen he would not even allow her to use their phone to call the police. He was not surprised that it was stolen and told us first that the cameras had poor resolution and then that they did not cover that area. It seemed very odd as if he was either involved or simply fully aware of what was going on.

Went to a birthday party here this weekend, although we’ve been a few times before with just our own munchkins in tow. This Chuck E Cheese is fairly new and fairly clean, but the new one on I-35 S is brand spankin’ new-ier and maybe a little closer to our house. The place was pretty full from 11am-1pm on a Sunday. Unfortunately, a number of the good rides and machines were out of order this time. C’mon Chuck, find a good game repairman, why dontcha? The birthday party went well I think, there were plenty of tokens for each guest, pizza for all, juice boxes, and waters for each kiddo, and a birthday show complete with Chuck E. himself and the ticket blaster. That ticket blaster looks really fun, even for an adult. Sadly, no matter how many tickets you get, almost everything they have to buy with those tickets is complete junk. But my 4yo doesn’t seem to notice that. He’s still enjoying some plastic vampire teeth he got with his tickets. I recommend that if you are going on your own dime, print out coupons on their website beforehand or get on their email list for even better coupons. It will save you a little dough, and make the experience a little less painful. All in all, not a place I’d go if I didn’t have kids, but they enjoy it, so it’s fine by me, once in a blue moon. They do have a pretty wide variety of soda selections, and even Bud and Bud Light on tap. I have never had a beer there because I might feel creepy if I did, but maybe someone else enjoys a nice Bud while watching an animatronic mouse dance, and who am I to judge you for that?

Well, what can I say other than, it’s Chuck E Cheese. It’s loud and chaotic. Our three year-old was overwhelmed by the noise and craziness. I wish there were more games for younger kids her age. After wandering around for 45 minutes, trying to find things she would like, we ended up leaving the birthday party early, before the pizza was served, so I can’t report on the quality of that part. It did seem fairly clean, but it was quite warm inside — I broke a swear just walking around the game area. Don’t think I’ll go back if I don’t have to.

The service, pizza, and coordination for my daughters birthday was SPOTONPERFECT. There are many positive things that I can repeat about this place, but they will be the same as others essentially. What I would want to make note of is that the employees helped us in every aspect of the party service and reservations in a most professional manner. I had no expectations from here on that, but they surely set the standard high for others to follow. They handle many parties simultaneously and they do it very well. It is amazing that they do it so well with lots of kids and families cycling through. The person who assisted us was Alysza. She was a gem. She ensured that we were directed to our tables, our guests got what they needed, and the flow and tempo of all the events went flawless. She helped with everything from bags for gifts, pizza, plates, lighting candles, coordinating the«show» and so much more. Chuck E. made a few appearances and the kids loved it. Additionally, the manager frequently came by and checked with our party event to ensure we were all satisfied and having a great time. We honestly do not spend money on these things often, but I do have to say that the money we spent was a great bargain for the convenience and worry free party that we had. I would easily recommend to have a party here. Be sure to call well ahead of your needed date and ask about specials.

Ehh, its ok. It’s a Chuck E Cheese, what do you expect? For young kids, though, I would recommend the location in La Frontera. This was my first time at this location and they had hardly any toys appropriate for young children(I have 18 month old twins). Their FAVORITE is the carousel and they didn’t even have one at this location! What? That seems like a pretty standard toy???

Fun place for the kids and adults too… We have been there few times and every time kids had a blast. This time we did our sons birthday party there and it went as we expected.(fun and hassle free) The place is clean, staff is friendly, food is fine. Our event coordinator was very nice. She helped us not only to set everything up but also to wrap the remaining food and make packets for the guests. There were parties one after another but the staff was quick in setting table, cleaning, bringing food, etc. cons: The queue and wait at the entrance. Everytime we go there, its like atleast5 mins wait… even when you are the first in the queue… so this is bit annoying because kids just want to run inside and you have to wait … Another thing is… the pizzas they served in the party already got cold. overall very good experience. definitely come back again…

Do you need somewhere to bring the family? Then look no further. Brainchild of an insane ex-Disney cast member, Austin’s newest family hot spot is Chuck E. Cheese. Located just off Mopac in an abandoned shopping mall and built on top of an ancient Aztec burial ground, this club has everything: — Angry parents — Loud noises — Disgruntled elderly — Creepy costumes — Psychotic children wielding balloon animals — Teenagers here for a birthday party who are pretending they’re too old — Pizza that is most certainly not Digiorno — A salad bar touched by the hands of a thousand children — Employees who are steadily more and more angry — Overpriced plastic crap worth 1,000,000 tickets And if you like the idea of the experience being even more disorienting, then be sure to check out the Haunted Tube Maze that isn’t Really Haunted and the grainy black and white photobooth said to read your soul. And don’t forget to pick up your complimentary thieving vagrant child. You’re pretty sure they live there and can be seen following you at a safe distance waiting to steal your tokens. Enjoy!

I’d probably suggest eating somewhere else and then coming to Chuck E Cheese’s to entertain the kids. The price is pretty high for the quality of food you get, but they gotta make their money somehow. The place isn’t bad. I guess what stood out to me was that there isn’t an initial fee. You have to get your hand stamped but otherwise you’re just paying for tokens. I like that they have a lot of pretty small rides for the really little kids too. There’s this weird ride for bigger kids that takes you through a roller coaster… and I’ll admit, that was kinda entertaining. I’m all about playing outside, but some days when you’re sick of water parks, it’s nice to stay in with the AC during the really hot days.

I’ve been to other Chuck E Cheese’s plenty of times when I was just knee high to a grasshopper myself(and who of such stature would rate Chuck E Cheese’s anything less than 5 stars??) Alas, I’m all grown up now and recently took my own wee little lass for the first time. Pros: * Pizza was okay * Each game needs but one token, which is refreshingly simplistic * Decent salad bar * The kiddo had a blast * Considering there was a small army of kids running around, the place was surprising clean Cons: * It was just the 2 of us, and every time we left our table they cleared it. The first time this resulted in us losing 1⁄3 of the pizza I paid good money for and which we were still planning to eat. When I told the guy working, he gave me another plate and cup for a salad and drink refill. But my pizza? Trashed. My money? Wasted. Sigh, what ever happened to customer service? Bottom line: They need one of those handy signs you can leave at your table that says«I’ll be back» * Prices are a bit steep for sub par food * No step stool in the bathroom for kids to wash their hands?! It’s Chuck E Cheese’s for crying out loud! * As a kid, I remember one of the highlights of going to Chuck E Cheese’s was seeing the mascot, the mouse, in the — fur?

No. NO! NOOOOO!!! Chucky Cheese is like something out of a Terry Gilliam movie. Bizarre juvenile performances blaring from oversized video screens. Huge animatronic anthropomorphic rats. Broken video games repeat«PLEASECALLTHEATTENDANT. PLEASECALLTHEATTENDANT. PLEASECALLTHEATTENDANT», unheard below the ear-splitting noise, unheeded by young children frantically shoving tokens into coin slots. Cardboard pizza. Bored staff leading birthday parties in rousing cheers of «CHUCKYCHEESE! CHUCKYCHEESE!» Parents desperately checking their watches. I cannot complain too much; we too once hosted a birthday party there. Bless the poor moms and dads who attended and yet still speak to us now.

Yes, I’m in my mid-30’s and went to Chuck E Cheese without a kid, and not to celebrate any kid’s birthday either. I went because it was game night… and alas, Chuck E Cheese has games. My brother and I were hitting the town’s game spots — we started at Double Dave’s, and there were a million kids there. The good games were taken, and getting a beer in that place is like getting a glass of water in the desert — not too likely. After our little Oasis beer, we left feeling unsatisfied. So, off to Chuck E’s we went… the place wasn’t too packed, the games were aplenty and for the most part the games we wanted to play were open. Of course, the breadsticks are the bomb, so we ate those while drinking our nice cold beer that was in my hand in a few short minutes after entering. We played a few games that were just spewing tickets so we could purchase some of the lame prizes — nostalgia, people, we couldn’t help it. After having a pretty darn good time, drinking some beer, and eating some food we were off to Dart Bowl… definitely feeling a lot better about the success of our game night!

I give 5 stars because this is as good as it gets, in regards to a child themed Restaurant. By far, the cleanest one anywhere I’ve been. And not one broken machine! The pizza was actually decent too! The staff is friendly and the kids had a blast. I recommend this location over any other if you want your kids to actually feel treated instead of tricked when a machine takes their token and is «out of service». LOL.
