8 months into a remodel, and we have still not completed the project. Several phone calls (none returned) and countless texts and emails to John G. And Dale F. For a refund check for the remaining missing appliances have come to nothing. These men are con artists and according to John G. who has claimed ownership (sole) of this establishment, they are distancing themselves from each other. John G. Has informed me that Dale F. was never an owner of this company, and that John simply worked for Dale who is the owner of OCD home services. A google search on the address of both businesses listed the same address as well as several others that had similar reviews, and management.

Im sorry it has come to this, but after 6 months and 100s of emails/​texts/​phone calls, there really is only one possible answer to why I have not received my 60% deposit money back from Cornerstone Home Services: Dale Friedman is a con man. He was supposed to build me a driveway, but the only «work» he did was cash my check :(Just now googling his name for the first time, I feel embarrassed for stupidly trusting someone, when the warnings of other victims were just a google search away.
Dale was a clever guy, giving me the lowest bid, but when I started asking questions about the details of his bid, he politely refused to proceed any further saying that he was too busy with other projects anyway and that I would need to find another contractor. Of course, silly me, I tried to talk him into fitting my driveway project into his busy schedule, like the chicken asking the fox to please come inside, I’ll wait for you.
