We loved Curries by Design! Our overall impression was that the food was cooked with love and soul. It really felt as though the food had been prepared by a loving grandmother or mother. The portions were very generous, and the flavors were superb. We appreciated the hand written instructions on how long to heat up each dish. It was obvious the food had been prepared that very day, just hours before delivery. And, they sent an e-​mail giving a 15 minute delivery time range, which helped us plan our evening. We will certainly be ordering again soon, and loved everything about the experience. Thank you!

I used to like Curries by Design and Aparna delivers the food to our door steps. The food was good and I was pleased with the quantity. But lately I have noticed that the quantity is getting lesser and lesser. I ordered the roasted cauliflower and the website promises the quantities to last 2 to 3 meals. I had ordered for a family of 2 and found that it lasted only for 1 meal. Paying close to $ 16 and getting just one serving is just not acceptable.
I enjoyed the lentil curry which tasted very good and I will definitely order that again. List of things that I did not like are coconut rice, veg ball, pineapple rasam, chicken 65, dosa rolls.
I will give Aparna a try again a couple of times and if I feel things had improved, I will change my rating. She needs to reduce the price or increase the quantity.
