History

Established in 2011.

I have always loved to decorate cakes. All of my friends said my cakes are pretty and taste great and I should start selling my talant so that I did. Im starting from the ground up to establish my business right now. Im working out of my home under the Texas Cottage Food Law that passed in 2011. As a previous Restaurant Manager I am food safety and sanitation certified. My goal for now is to build a good client base, once my 2 youngest kids go to school and preschool I will then take on larger cakes and find a local commercial kitchen that I can work from to make larger cakes. My overall goal is to open my own storefront and would love to have my husband run the shop with his Restaurant management skills while I decorate. And make my business known as a family run business that truely cares about our customers and offers fantastic customer service.

My name is Krista. I am wife of 7 years and mom to 4 kids. I love anything hands on and crafty. Making things pretty is my passion. I am detail oriented and very much of a perfectionist when it comes to all of my crafts. I spent a great amount of time planning and making sure everything will work perfectly and I take my time making sure every aspect is done to the best of my ability. My daughters love to sit and watch me make my cakes and like to decorate their own cakes while im making my customers cakes. I love having my kids involved in my business and teaching them a skill that they can use for the rest of their life to support their family. I have the complete support from my husband in starting my business and he has put his own paychecks toward my baking and decorating tools to help me get started.
