I love what I do, I feel that bodyworkers are on the front line of health care and I take that responsibility very seriously. I enjoy combining assessment and a clinical approach with the more intuitive side of bodywork. I feel that my strength as a massage therapist comes from being able to treat the client’s symptoms as well as the underlying cause, which can be a combination of physiological and structural as well as emotional and energetic issues. I value a client-​centered, holistic approach to health care.

I haven’t been able to turn my neck a full 180 degrees in months. Now I can with no pain or restriction. Emily is a wonderful therapist. The room is as tranquil and comfortable at any 5 star hotel. She has made a huge difference in the way my body feels. I have made it a monthly necessity.

I can’t emphasize enough of how wonderful and therapeutic Emily’s healing touch is. I’ve been experiencing a newlyformed lower back issue (part of aging I guess) and was recommended to her by a fellow physical therapist. She was very intuitive, well– versed and knowledgable. Her expertise showed as I left the session feeling pretty refreshed and with what felt like a new lower back!
I am excited to have found her in Austin! Amazing massage therapists DO exist :-)

Emily is a REALLY GREAT massage therapist. She is very intuitive in her understanding of the body and what it needs that day. She is always employing various techniques from her vast knowledge to get specific results. She is consistently good at making me feel great after every single appointment.
I am suffering from a major accident and have been seeing her to help me recover. I always walk out feeling a lot better than I walked in and she has been a huge help in my rehab so far.
Her space is always clean and is so very relaxing to be treated in.
You should go see her, you wont regret it!

I am an acupuncturist and have been receiving bodywork for years from many different therapists. Emily is one of the most intuitive healers I’ve ever received work from. I have seen her over the past several years for both massage and cranio-​sacral sessions. She is highly skilled at both and is particularly attuned to with what kind of modality her clients would benefit from. She is not only very knowledgeable in regards to anatomy and physiology but is also sensitive to the physical manifestations of emotional and spiritual stress within the body.
I frequently refer my own patients, family and friends to Emily and foresee receiving her therapeutic work for years to come.

I can’t begin to describe how great my massage with Emily was. She is incredibly good at what she does and has an amazing intuition about using the right level of pressure to release tension from knots I’ve had in my back for years. She was also great about regularly asking if I was comfortable with the pressure levels she was using something I’ve found lacking in th epast at other places. Her style of massage has helped finally find relief from TMJ pain. By the time I opened my eyes at the end of the massage I had totally forgotten what the room we were in look like I’ve never before experienced this feeling of being «transported» from a massage (and it’s a testament to how relaxing and refreshing a session with Emily is. I can’t recommend her enough, and you should definitely check her out if you have a chance.

As a cyclist, triathlete, Kinesiology (Exercise Physiology) major in college and a working professional, I have to say that I was really impressed with the quality of Emily’s massage work, her in depth understanding of the body and her ability to treat not only muscles «in pain», but to really provide a healing experience over the course of time. I had several massages (some in combined sessions with Reiki) from Emily when we both lived in Oregon, and the benefits of repeated massage with her made a huge difference in my body’s ability to maintain strength, comfort and stay pain-​free! Whether I had aches and pains from sitting at a desk for 12 hours or from a 70-​mi bike ride, her intuitive senses, in-​depth knowledge and dedication to her work were evident every step of the way! Oh Dahlia, thank you for using your healing arts on me! I’m still not completely clear on how the light touch of a CranioSacral treatment works, but I know it works! I left the studio feeling taller, calmer, stronger, and more flexible. The studio is so beautiful and tranquil, and I cannot wait to return for a massage and more happy treatments for my chronically achy body. I almost don’t want to spread the word about Emily at Dahlia because I want her all to myself, but I know I must share her with the world!
