Established in 1994.

In 1994, Jerry Reed, of Reed Properties, formed Development 2000, Inc. Development 2000 offers businesses both small and large, a ‘turn key’ development service that includes site selection, financing, permitting, design and construction of commercial and industrial space. Development 2000 also has the resources to act as landlord or partner for almost any tenant doing business in Austin.

To date, the company’s projects have ranged from $ 400,000.00 to just under $ 12,000,000.00 with our concentration on the design/​build sector of the real estate market. The ‘strong suit’ of Development 2000 is the ‘middle ground’; development and construction of projects that aren’t easily handled by very large or very small developers.
