This store is awesome. It’s always in stock and is organized where I can find all of the things I need. The employees here are so friendly and treat everyone with respect. That’s hard to find now a days in retail jobs. They are always smiling and willing to help me find what I need.

I love this store for all the great deals but, also because the workers remember who you are when you come in; or it may be because I come here too often! I pick up my variety puzzle books, paper towels, dog treats, gardening supplies, seasonal stuff, flip flops, I even bought a pair of shorts here, kitchen rugs, odds and ends groceries, small kitchen appliances, small furniture, coolers, candles and household cleaners. This is a store that I like to just walk up and down every aisle to see what deals they have going on. The checkout is always quick and they have ample parking in the strip mall they are located in. The store is always clean and organized; unlike other locations that I have been in. Big props to Laurie(spelling? Sorry) who is always so sweet and takes the time to ask about my dogs and such! It really does make all the difference when you have the best employees working for you!

This is my go to place when I need greeting cards or candy. The greeting cards are value priced and they sometimes run sales which makes them super cheap. Their candy is cheaper than the convenience store and they always seem to have something unique. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. The selection of items is typical dollar store. There is a small selection of pantry items. I enjoy looking through the«as seen on tv» products. Sometimes I even buy one. The store is clean by dollar store standards, so that’s nice. The parking isn’t an issue, and I’m always able to get in and back on my way quickly when I’m in a hurry.

Sadly, the shelves are never stocked. Boxes are strewn about on the floor as well as merchandise. Perhaps the store is under staffed or the employees do not care. I do KNOW, there was 72 year old man buying cigarets. The manager Viki, asked for his ID. As he looked through his wallet for about 5 minutes, the line behind him and me(about 6 people) were laughing, but also getting pissed. Viki kept insisting it is in our written store policy to card everyone, regardless of age. He found his ID. Yep, he was 72 and looked every great days of it. I went in another day, and yes, Viki was carding a woman who turned out to be 45. Viki needs to be carded and taken from the store. She is a rude employee and when asked«You need my ID?» Like a robot, she keeps saying ID please, ID please. Some people have said forget it. Left their merchandise on the counter and walked out. And Viki looks at them and says have a nice day. Power in the hands of low skilled, ignorant workers is sad. Bit alas, I no longer go to Dollar General Store #4031. Right down the block is a Walgreens where you are treated with respect. By the way, you can always tell when Viki is working. She is the employee out front, yep, smoking a cigaret. Go figure!

In this economy we’re in right now, it’s not as shameful to be a penny pincher so I checked out this store a few days ago and was amazed at how big it was on the inside. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of goods in this store as usually when you go to a dollar store, everything is made of cheap plastic and the food items are all knock-off generic stuff that will make you feel sick. I was actually looking for some birthday candles and got 2 sets of about 24 for $ 1. In that same aisle i found a bunch of party supplies that were all for a buck. I wish I had more time to scope out the whole store, but I will definitely be going back there to load up on snacks and supplies.
