Dr. Weinfeld completed medical school and his residency in plastic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He then completed two fellowships focused on cosmetic surgery of the face and body, oculopastic surgery, migraine surgery, and breast reconstruction with several of the nation’s leading plastic surgery educators. Dr. Weinfeld is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Weinfeld has a keen interest in medical education and research. He has written more than 25 scientific articles and book chapters on the field of plastic surgery and he holds a clinical faculty appointment with UT Southwestern Medical School. Nonetheless, the majority of his efforts are related to treating patients and he sees plastic surgery as a surgical discipline that is focused on how patients feel about themselves as much as how they look and function.
His unique background, with additional training in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, permits him to provide a comprehensive approach to complex surgical challenges. Dr. Adam Weinfeld specializes in breast reconstruction, complex skin cancer reconstruction, the surgical management of migraine headaches, nasal surgery for the correction of breathing problems and traumatic deformities, and advanced cosmetic surgery of the face, nose, breasts and body.
