Dr. Clarke is currently Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas in Austin, TX. He has a special interest and has done extensive research in Pediatric Epilepsy, sleep related disorders in patients with epilepsy, and the neurological complications of Sickle Cell Disease. Dr. Clarke has published in peer-reviewed journals such as, Journal of Child Neurology, Epilepsia, Seizures, and Epileptic Disorders, and has written chapters for various textbooks. Dr. Clarke is an active member of the American Epilepsy Society, Child Neurology Society, and Sleep Research Society and has been an editor for distinguished scientific journals. He is a boarded Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and special qualification in Sleep Medicine. In addition, Dr. Clarke is also a boarded Diplomat of the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology with specialty of advance clinical Neurophysiology with added competence in epilepsy monitoring.
