Update to previous post below. The company did the right thing and resolved all key items to our satisfaction and without additional charge. Daniel did a great job and kept us well informed. For this follow up work, I would readily rate 4+ stars. Overall rating a little less, given it took a lower online rating to prompt action. Guys, if you piece together the excellent early and later stage service efforts, along with solid ongoing oversight throughout and complete well the full scope of work, you’ve got a winner.
Generally professional, timely and courteous crews. Fine job with dry out after water damage. Would not recommend for repair/​reconstruction work. Did not complete all items on their own reconstruction list, some items completed sloppily, additional items arose that required our pointing out, and they missed a number of items to return the areas to pre-​loss condition. The company refused to remedy final items without further charges. Homeowners should not have to expect to babysit and hold accountable contractors who have agreed to and been paid for a specified scope of work. Unfortunately that was our experience with this company. Good start, but in the end did not fully deliver. Look elsewhere.

All of the gentlemen who came to my home acted In a very professional manner. They came in, took care of business, and went on their way. They were knowledgable and very polite. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service. I also appreciated all of the phone calls letting me know that they were on their way.

We called Dry Force this past Thursday evening after discovering a leak in the A/​C had produced a river of water underneath laminate flooring in two rooms (that we could tell) and had soaked parts of the carpet in a third room.
They were out within the hour for an evaluation, and back the next morning to remove flooring and begin the drying process. They made it out before the actual A/​C repairman!
These guys have been wonderfully fantastic to work with. We dealt with Thomas, Emilio, and Joseph and a couple people on the phone in their office (when I first reported the problem and when they’d call each day to let me know someone was on the way). Everyone was friendly, professional, on time, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them to anyone who ever happens to find you’re suddenly in need of water remediation services.

Pros:
* The Dryforce guy was super fast to arrive. But he took way too long to get to the point and get out of the house.
Cons:
* We’d been told the company did drywall repair in addition to water removal. All we wanted was drywall repair, but they were really pushy about selling us a service we didn’t ask for or need.
* They used scare tactics to make us think the repair would be really expensive (I think so that we would get our insurance company involved, go over our deductible, and then stop caring how much they charged).
* The quote was $ 1300 to dry and area that was already dry. No standing water or anything, a bleach spray job to prevent mold at most.
Background:
A plumber I liked referred my to this company after punching a hole in our ceiling to fix a leak. The leak had dripped under the subfloor, but not much. It had been a small leak, and my wife and I had stopped using the water in that bathroom months ago while we looked for a plumber; so everything was basically dry to start with, but there was some ruined drywall and insulation from earlier.
We called them to give us a quote on drywall repair. The guy shows up and says they don’t do that, but I tell him he can give us a quote on water removal. He gives me a $ 1,300 quote if we go through insurance, $ 850 if we pay out of pocket.
I tell him I’m going to talk it over with family and he gets visibly flustered telling me it’s «work that just has to get done.»

Dryforce handled the drying and cleanup of a plumbing nightmare in our house and the drying services were very good and we would recommend them for that and that alone.
They also provide contractor/​rebuild services. Avoid this part of their business at all costs. We have been juggled around to 8 different people all who tell us different things. We could never get a straight answer out of them on the rebuild side of things and as a result our repairs have dragged on for months.

My wife and I were treated to a pretty nasty surprise. We found water in the hallway on the opposite side of our master bathroom wall, and called a plumber to have the leak fixed. Once he’d taken stock of the situation, the plumber showed us that the damage was a lot worse than we suspected — by the time the water was noticeable in the hall it had already saturated the walls around the bathroom and even behind the tub tile. This was going to be a lot bigger than just fixing a water leak.
We’d never had anything like this happen before, and had no idea what to do. Our plumber told us who he’d call — DryForce. So we called DryForce and they had a technician there within an hour to assess the situation. They had the walls opened up and drying machines in place within a day, and they handled the liaison with the insurance company. By the time the project was over, the repairs were done to our satisfaction and then some, with new flooring, repainted walls, and even an access panel in the old wall where we could get to the tub plumbing in case the problem happened again in the future.
DryForce took good care of us, and got us and our foster kids back into our home with quality work, and made sure we didn’t pay a dime over our insurance deductible. In the unfortunate event something like this happens to anyone else I know — I’m going to recommend Mike Foster and the folks at DryForce to take care of the problem quickly, professionally and in a minimal-​stress manner.
