Do not waste your time with this place. Absolutely terrible service. The person running the front office, mentioned in other reviews, has a serious attitude problem. They screwed up my glasses so I brought them back and this person tried to tell me I was not wearing them right when they were measured and that’s why they are wrong. For some reason I decided to try again with them, and they screwed up a second pair of glasses. This time the person who works the front tried to lie to me a couple of times about this pair. I really couldn’t believe how hostile she was being about it. I might have worked with them if she tried at all to work with me. Instead she spent all her energy trying to convince me that she was right the whole time, when she knows she wasn’t. Anyway, after asking for a refund, the doctor apologized and then proceeded to charge me a $ 100 restocking fee. What a waste of time this place is!!! Update: Just back from their office. For some reason the only person that can do returns in the doctor, and she just happened to be busy the entire 490 minutes that I waited up there to talk to her about this. At first I felt bad for her, must be hard to get good help in the front office, but from her attitude and the tacking on of the mysterious $ 100 restocking fee, I can tell she is where the problem comes from. Screw this place.
Edit: I see the doctor has tried to sound nice now that I have posted my experience online. I was in her office for 40 mintues, more than enough time for you to come out and talk to me, since your front desk person said you are the only person who can process returns. Also, why in the hell would you try to stick me with a restocking fee? Your front desk person told me I had 30 days to decide on the glasses, and never mentioned anything about a $ 100 restocking fee. And, where did the $ 100 amount come from? Feels like you just pulled that number out of the air. I told your front desk person, after waiting 40 minutes, that if you couldn’t talk to me I was leaving and disputing this charge on my credit card. She then asked if I would just wait another 10 minutes (she had been telling me it would just be 15 minutes for over 30 at that point) and I said no. I’m done waiting. That woman has worked for you for quite some time, you already know how bad she is at customer service, so I find it hard to believe that you actually care about the terrible service that people get at your office. Please stop getting on Unilocal and pretending that you do.

I only came to Eyeris due to it’s location. Front desk looked confused as soon as I walked in, said I didn’t have an appointment but they could «fit me in». 10 minutes later they apologized because they «saw my appointment after all». Dr. Le is nice but argued with me since I wanted a dilated exam and she didn’t want to wait for my eyes to dilate. «You’re young, you probably don’t have any retina issues». Really lady? Who argues with the patient? She was nice up until I didn’t want to buy her glasses, then she became very passive aggressive. She had the audacity to ask me what other glasses I’d be buying, then explained to me why the glasses I wanted were cheap. She just wanted to make a sale. Also, the physician seems to do it all. Receptionist, insurance verification, salesperson, technician and physician. Cool, but hire more staff. I won’t be returning; if you’re thinking about going to this place due to location — try somewhere else.

Warning bells started going off when I handed over a copy of my prescription, and the person behind the counter asked which prescription I wanted, that there were two (it says «progressive lenses» right there).
By the time the up-​charging, up-​selling was done, vague answers to simple questions, the lenses would have cost $ 440+ with my discount plan. That’s JUST lenses, not frames.
Last time I trusted a boutique eye wear shop to up-​sell and up-​charge me, I wasted a month with migraine inducing eye strain — and they did a MUCH better job at justifying each up-​tic. And as great as my current ProDesign frames are, I won’t spend close to half a grand on anything without making sure that expense is warranted.
I checked my vision discount plan before stepping through the door with my prescription. Good thing I did. When the price quoted is close to half a grand, more than basic is required. I was being told that the prices were per lens not per pair (not true), that anti-​reflective was a copay (not true, it’s a flat fee). And $ 120 per pair base price does not divide or multiply into $ 214 in any universe, at least not evenly. I have no idea where they got their numbers, but I got mine from my insurance company last night. The two people behind the counter were discussing something about prices and someone «updating the system» last night, but at least one of them has a math problem.
The person helping me just seemed clueless about why someone would have questions and unprepared to answer. The other person helping someone who just got out of an eye exam barked at someone’s little girl, «Don’t touch that» to some small piece of equipment on her desk. I had to grin at the hyperactive little girl who crept forward and touched it before wandering off.
I could appreciate her rebelliousness. While the cost discrepancies were a deal breaker, there were a lot of little things that didn’t add up to a good experience, from awkward, vague answers to basic questions, to standing at a counter for 15 minutes, and no attempt to build a customer relationship. My prescription came right back out with me, no glasses ordered after 15 minutes of standing at that counter.
I had planned on getting lenses now, a new regular pair of glasses in a couple months, and a new pair of sunglasses and sportswear glasses in the new year. I will still be doing that — but someplace else.
One star for the premises being bright and airy.
One star for carrying ProDesign.

Dr. Le and her staff are fantastic. Absolutely great visit. Explained everything, no crazy sales tactics. My favorite eye doctor in my 20 years of seeing eye doctors. Can’t recommend more.

Dr Le is great! And I absolutely love my new glasses. I don’t have to wear my glasses full time so I wanted something funky and unique. Try had so many options!

The doctor explained everything to me and made it better. She was very knowledgeable and kind.

I was in Austin for a short vacation and needed to get some coloured contacts. I came across Eyeris vision as I was exploring the city. What caught my eye initially was how clever the name of the store was! I was immediately impressed and went in. The store is very clean and modern. They did a good job at displaying their glasses because it was easy to see each style. I worked with Dr. Le who gave me an eye examination as well as fitted me for coloured contacts. Dr. Le was very personable and informative. I don’t have a strong prescription (about a –1), but she was nice enough to hook me up with a trial pair of daily contacts to try in case I ever decided to get prescription contacts. I’ve never worn prescription contacts before and it has been awhile since I wore coloured contacts so I was having some difficulties getting them into my eye. Dr. Le’s staff saw that I was struggling and taught me how to wear them with a demonstration. He was clear and concise, and was very patient with me because it took me over 10 minutes to get the contacts in! My eyes were extremely tired and watery that day.
I was very impressed with the overall service and the price was reasonable! I definitely recommend this store for anyone who is interested in great expertise, customer service, and product selection. I wish Dr. Le would venture out and open a store in Toronto! She’s amazing!

I had a terrific experience at Eyeris Vision! I was certain my eyes were perfect, but found out I needed a slight prescription. Dr. Le elegantly described what was going on with my eyes and what I needed. Maddie was exceptional at helping me pick out glasses that were comfortable and stylish. Thank you Dr. Le and staff!

The receptionist was nice at first then very rude and seemed annoyed while helping me set up an appointment. They also told me they would call me back and that never happened. I got the vibe that this place thinks they are better than every other eye doctor, which is completely untrue. I never see anyone there, it’s only a matter of time until they go out of business.

I was in Austin for vacation with two of my girlfriends and happened to stumble on this cool hipster area with a optometry clinic that carried frames. The décor inside was the reason that attracted me to have a look. When I walked in I instantly felt welcomed and I couldn’t take my eyes off the frames that were displayed on the shelves.
The staff was very helpful and I couldn’t help it and bought a Prodesign frame because it was just one of those that you cant find anywhere. Dr. Le was even kind enough to throw in some contact lens on my eyes to enhance my shopping experience so I can see myself better when trying on frames. Her expertise in style and knowledge of her products was beyond my expectation.
Since my stay was short I’ve decided to buy the frame first and then have the lenses made at home. Nonetheless I was really impressed with her service.
