This used to be my go-​to place for hair and beauty supplies. However the last few times I tried to visit the store was closed during what would normally be open hours. Today I called to confirm what time they would close before making another trip. I spoke to the owner and she said 7 p.m. (The sign on the door still says they are open until 8 p.m.) I confirmed the product I wanted to purchase was in stock and I arrived at 5:40pm to see her leaving the store and locking it up. No one else in this area has the product I’m looking for, so I guess I’ll be purchasing online from now on.

Loved the assistance I received in this store. I was on crutches and the two women were so polite with advice on product to use that I was purchasing I had searched everywhere for a beauty supply that catered to AA and was satisfied with my purchase and service. Def will return. Just wish you could return items if no longer needed when receipt.

Horrible service. One of the very rude clerks told me and my girlfriend to our face they didn’t want our business. We will never be back. She already knew which wig she wanted when she walked in and wasn’t even able to ask them for it before they told me and her to leave they are closing and always close on time with a heavy asian accent. Bet the owner would disagree with kicking out paying customers. M & W Fashions is in the plaza next door check that place out instead, Don’t waste your time in this overpriced ghetto wasteland. Bars on the door homeless people asking for money outside in the parking lot. 0 Star if I could.

I love this place! Out of all the places I’ve been to in Austin, this place carries hair I can’t find anywhere. Not to mention I love the staff! Great selection!
