Flash Motorbikes specializes in both vintage and newer mopeds, all scooters including chinese brands, and japanese street bikes. We have a passion for these different motorbikes and use that passion to keep your bike running, riding and looking top notch!

History

Established in 2011.

Flash Motorbikes has a genuine love for the motorbike industry starting back when Jeremy (the owner) was a young kid. He started riding mini bikes. This turned into motocross and snocross racing. He started working in a shop when he was 13 years old. After 16 years of wrenching, selling and managing at motorcycle/​scooter he came up with Flash Motorbikes. This was no new idea. Jeremy wanted to do this for years but wanted to gain more experience so years after the dream was born, Flash was born! Taking the good ideas and practices he has from previous shops and improving those ideas is what will make Flash Motorbikes the destination spot for motorcycle/​scooter/​moped repair. His wife, Tiffany will run the parts/​accessories/​business end. Any bike is welcome at Flash Motorbikes. We have the latest equipment and tools to do the right job the first time!

My name is Jeremy Wolf. I am the owner/​mechanic here at Flash. I have been workin on all types of bike since I was kid. I raced motocross and snocross up north pretty successfully! I love what I do and have worked very hard in dealerships to be able to open my own shop. I have always envisioned having a shop of my own that had a ma-​pa type of feel. My wife is running the business end while I do the wrenching and help her with parts ordering and identifying. Its a small shop perfect for my proper tools, lift and tire equipment! I specialize in japanese bikes, all scooters, and new/​vintage mopeds! I love café style bikes and have built a few bobber/​rat style bikes.

Bottom line is I am lucky to have a shop for a living and as a hobby and treat every bike as my own. If I dont feel I can do a thorough job I probably won’t do it!

Flash motorbikes is one of the best run, competent repair shops that I have ever dealt with. They have been more than fair with their prices, their service is excellent and timely and based on the discussions that I have had with Jeremy, there isn’t much that they can’t do. They have been a real pleasure to deal with.

I bring my Yamaha Zuma 125 to Flash whenever I can’t do something myself and am always so happy with the work they do. Jeremy is a stand up guy and knows what he is doing. Tiffany is super helpful and always has good advice. The work is always done quick and right and they never try do do work that you don’t need. In fact if something doesn’t need to be done, they’ll recommend you wait. Flash is the truth, bring your bike there.

So, after over a month, several sarcastic remarks such as the following:
1. «We saw you review on Unilocal,and we only called you one day past the two week maximum amount of time promised for a quote.»
My favorite is the one about how it is…
2. «Best to call us during working hours.»
I find this hilarious since they have a web form on their website, which I imagine sends an email. I sent several asking them to email me. I have my reasons, I don’t need to explain them to you, and if you are a phone call only company than perhaps you should make someone sign something stating an agreement towards such, and remove the freaking email text box from your webpage!
My rating is still a one for the following reasons:
1. It is/​was (because I’m thinking of selling it now… thanks a lot) MY bike, and because of the immaturity and complete stubbornness about a stupid phone call, I no longer have a mechanic. I had to get a guy I know to call them instead, because wasn’t able!
2. I am 100% positive they broke the headlight, are trying to charge for this as well, did not order it in the beginning, and now I’m going to have to wait another month for that! I am positive of this, because the last time it was ridden was down a unlit road at night. That was only a day or two before it was brought in. It is also one of the things the guy that you’ve been in contact with checked specifically before I purchased it.
3. In my email, I specifically asked for a quote for the speedometer as well. That was the only other thing I asked for. Instead, you listened to the guy (not owner) of the bike and ordered and accepted all new spark plugs. I didn’t give to poops about spark plugs! You also didn’t give him a quote for the speedometer, as I requested, and I had to ask him to call you back.
This bike is now for sale, as I do not want to work with this company anymore. To my knowledge, they are the only one in the area that can work on vintage bikes. I am asking $ 800. Unfortunately, I have to hire a lawyer if I want to claim financial damages through the BBB. I can’t afford a lawyer right now. That’s why I had to sell my car, and get this shitty bike! I needed food, and a way to get back and forth to job interviews.

Flash got my 1972 CB350 running like a charm, better than its ever run before, for a reasonable price. Seriously impressed with their work and service and would recommend them to anyone.
Their shop is clean and cool and everyone there was super nice. Great attitude and a nice shop to visit.

Jeremy is awesome. I thought I had some serious front end issue on my scooter, suspension, brake dragging, vibrations, rocking horse, just plain scary stuf happening. I thought I was gonna need some serious work, (since my scooter is almost 10 years old.) Turns out, Jeremy thinks I hit a bump and the tire sucked in on the rim. He had it reseated and fixed in no time. No more wonky vibrations. NOTE TO SELF: check your tire pressure, mine were only 15 PSI and i know i just aired them up 2 months ago when the weather was colder. Check tire pressure regularly. Good luck to Jeremy and Tiffany and Co. in the new expanded digs.

These guys and girls are simply awesome. I bought a vintage Vespa piassio in non running condition that hadn’t been touched in at least 10 years. Dropped it off at the very cool new shop on burnet Rd. I was givin an accurate timeline and was called with updates throughout the process. Extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic staff with the owner leading the way on this well oiled machine! (Pardon the pun…)
Price was more than fair and they took their time explaining everything about my bike and were very patient dealing with my inexperience. Made me feel like a priority.
I will never take my scooter/​moped anywhere else. And I will proudly wear my badass new flash motorbikes trucker hat! Keep up the great work guys!

What an awesome shop. We came in to get inspections on our bikes and found a pretty cool bike shop! We even walked away with some merch! They have very fast and friendly service and are easy to talk to, unlike some other bike shops.

Tiffany and Jeremy are the best kind of people to do business with. They are kind, patient, honest and great at explaining things. They fixed up my weird old bike a few times and even gave some great advice for doing self maintenance. I cannot stress this enough: THESE ARE THE GREATEST PEOPLE.

Awesome people that know how to treat their customers! Jeremy and Tiffany are extremely friendly and always willing to help.
I just bought an older bike that needed new rubber. Jeremy knocked it out in a timely fashion and at a great price. He even ran through some basic maintenance stuff at no charge.
What I really like about Jeremy is that he treats each job as if he were working on his personal bike.
And if that’s not enough, Jeremy offered to buy me a small pie as I was paying for his service. You can’t put a price on quality service and customer care.

Jeremy and Tiffany are awesome. It’s a real mom and pop shop and really makes you feel like a part of the family by coming here. I had some really messed up frame sliders from the previous owner on my 09 R6 and Jeremy worked some magic and got my new woodcrafts to work. Awesome shop, they’re actually expanding soon next door. The new place looks awesome!
Jeremy really knows what he’s doing and doesn’t do anything he won’t do to his own bike. I really trust him with my bike. I came from Houston just to get my bike to a Flash so Jeremy could work on it. 5 stars hands down.

Flash Motorbikes is great! They fixed my moped within a day or so when the other places had no clue what was wrong with it.
Today I came back for an oil change for my 125cc moped. In and out in 20 min. I definitely recommend this place.

These guys were absolutely fantastic!
From the phone consult with Ryan, who was so nice and knowledgeable, to bringing in my scooter for a front tire flat, the customer service was just top notch! They had to order my front tire, but even with that, my scooter was ready the next day and even when I couldn’t pick it up that same day, they were able to keep it for me overnight.
I also like that they are not that far a walk from the bus stop on Burnet, so if, like me, you had no other transport options to pick up your scooter or motorcycle, that is always a viable option!
Also, they were able to fix my Chinese scooter and did so graciously (without the condescension and snobbery of other scooter joints that «won’t touch them»). I am so happy to be zooming around town on Tallulah again!
If you see a cotton candy pink chinese scooter on the road, it’s thanks to these fantastic folks! They definitely have a lifetime customer here!
