Fun Prints Photography specializes in portraiture, particularly of families with young children. We do both studio and outdoor shoots as well as corporate headshots both in studio and on location. Our sister business, Lone Star Boudoir (www​.lon​es​tar​boudoir​.com), specializes in glamour photography of women. We have small event coverage plus full wedding plans. We also photograph bands, stage plays, conferences, and award ceremonies.

Both Fun Prints and Lone Star Boudoir offer traditional print as well as digital file packages. Photographer Deanna Roy has been a full-​time photographer since 1999.

History

Established in 1999.

Fun Prints began as Anne Geddes became popular with her images of children in costume, posed as butterflies, bugs and fairies. Originally we set ourselves apart with extraordinary digital imagery combining nature photography with babies. While we still maintain our costume collection, photography trends have led us to expand our line to traditional images in color, black & white, and sepia, outdoor shoots, and corporate work. In 2010, we opened Lone Star Boudoir to join the new trend of glamour and provocative photography of women.

Business Owner

Deanna Roy has a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She has taught photography at the high school level, then opened Fun Prints after the birth of her first daughter. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America, runs a local group for other professional photographers, and teaches classes for every type of photographer from beginners with point and shoot cameras, to setting up studios for professionals.
