Did a buffalo fart in my mouth or did I have a slice of Gatties«pizza»? Well, no buffalo in Far West so… I just had a plate of aborted rat fetuses, and it was a 10000 times better than Gatties«pizza!!! If you like dough made from used diapers, cheese made from Dow Chemical, meat made from possum entrails, sauce made from microwaved diarrhea, this is your place!!! I wish there was a stronger word than hate, cuz I HATE Gatties«pizza»!!

Key to a good fast food restaurant often is are the employees happy. They always seem to be here. I really like the buffet and they were making a lot of special pizzas, but often they had 4 pizzas out and every one had onions, they didn’t get the hint when everyone kept grabbing the non-onion pizzas when they did come out, although the guy did say he’d make us any request we wanted. We got filled up and the food was good.

My friend and I came here for a nostalgic buffet when they opened at 10:30am. We go there and they didn’t have any ice in the machines yet and had no food out. We gave them some time, but still, nothing. 40 minutes later they put pizza out. I will always love Gattis’ pizza and I don’t know why people don’t like them, but the service at the buffet’s sucks.

I love Gatti’s pizza. I’ve been going here since I was a little kid and well into my adulthood now. They have the best ranch and they’ll make any pizza you want on the buffet(yes it takes a little time but they’re making you a whole new pizza??) I will never stop loving Gatti’s pizza.

Gatti’s Pizza has always been a favorite of mine; who wouldn’t enjoy a pizza buffet? The buffet offer’s about 5 different types of pasta dishes, various pizza’s on the buffet line, and of course, pizza on order. My only gripe is the overly used plates, cups. and silverware and the unsanitary look of them.

0 stars if I could. I had a horrible experience at Gattis. Me and my friends wanted to get a good all you can eat meal. However, one of my friends did not want to eat anything and just wanted to sit at our table, then he got confronted by the work staff and they told him to leave. We were just trying to eat a nice meal and be polite but gattis did not make it easy. On my plate I found multiple hairs due to unclean surfaces behind the kitchen. The African American male working also told us to get our friend who did not pay to leave or his«sister would bitch at us and beat our ass». I am unhappy with my decision to come here and it was not worth the 8 dollar buffet.

Let’s face it Gatti’s isn’t gourmet so the criteria I use to judge is «Is it a good deal for the cost?» With a drink it was $ 10. I think CiCi’s is better cause the selection is about the same and it ‘s cheaper.

You know what you’re getting here. I like to get a salad and pasta along with my pizza. They will make a requested pizza for the buffet. It’s not the greatest, but it’s OK and hits the spot once in a while.

Pizza is ok. But they have quit serving Fettuccine Alfredo and in the salad bar they do not serve Jell-O These are entries they used to serve. Instead in the salad bar they serve pudding. They told me that none of the restaurant serve Jell-O anymore. Because they do not serve Jell-O I rarely eat at their salad bar. And they only serve Marconi and different Spaghettis. I guess I may be the only person who likes Jell-O and Fettuccini Alfredo. I feel that they gone up on the prices and down on selections that they offered in addition to Pizza.

Gluten Free pizza is cheaper than Austin’s Pizza and you get a bigger pie!

Kudos to Gatti’s for helping out in a pinch! I had a professional meeting and our caterer didn’t show. I asked for 20 pizzas and several bottles of drinks asap! They got everything done and delivered in under 45 minutes. The pizzas were hot and tasty. They did not taste«rushed». There was a little bit of a lag time from when I made my original order with the first person on the phone. It’s possible that they thought that this was a prank. They did try to offer me discounts but I explained that I need them now and the other stuff can wait. They then transferred me to the manager and we got things rolling. Also, 20 pizzas is bit much for a group of 70, to my surprise.

We go to this location about once a month as we live really closeby and walk. We have only gone for the lunch buffet, around 1−2pm. go so we can’t speak about what goes on at dinner time but from our experiences here… we love it! The manager is very friendly with a great sense of humor… He always asks us what kind of pizza we like and makes it up fresh for the buffet! Good pizza, good salad bar, and very friendly staff! We love it.

I had been a regular of this place for a while. It was good, not great. But the last two times I’ve gone in for the buffet, it became clear that the have taken a nosedive. The buffet was picked over, and what was left was dry and every slice had jalapeños on it. The salad bar was a mess, and they really weren’t making any new fresh pizzas for the buffet. In the past, they had kept the buffet fresh and with a variety, and they would ask my favorite pizza and add it to the buffet. No more. It will be quit a while before I go back.

I came here as a last resort when my original lunch choice was inaccessible. It was a big mistake. The pizzas did not taste good. I usually loooove pizza but had no desire to finish any of the slices here and left soon. The location on Far West Blvd is convenient and easily accessible(unlike Moses Falafel inside the Jewish Center!). :)

«Meh» is right. I don’t know what I expected, but damn, this is some mediocre pizza. I didn’t really think it was even possible to get bad pizza. I mean, how hard is it, really, to make a tasty crust/sauce/topping combo? We have tried Gatti’s three times, and I’m sorry, but I just don’t get it. Pretty much ANY other Austin pizza joint is better.

I have to admit, my boyfriend and I really only go here if we’re looking for quantity over quality, BUT I was particularly appreciative of the service the last time we were there. I requested a supreme pizza with jalapenos, and the woman at the register said they were working on one. We sat down far from the buffet, so I missed when it came out of the oven. The same woman brought two slices of it over to our table to make sure I didn’t miss out because it was going fast. :) I’d say that’s above and beyond for a buffet! I only docked one star because the salad bar was looking sparse and wilted while we were there, but it was being re-stocked as we left. It was the lunch rush, so it’s understandable. The pizza really hit the spot anyway!

I don’t usually frequent the all you can eat, but this place was recommended by a friend. Its ok; decent enough food, but I was disappointed in the service. When we got there, there was no plain cheese pizza for the kids, and the adults in my group were not big pork eaters. Every pizza on the line had pepperoni or sausage on it. We asked if they could make some plain cheese, and they did but it took a while. You would think that they would always have plain cheese available. They had some pizza on the line that had obviously been there a while, and it tasted that way too. I will say that the fresh stuff wasn’t terrible. The salad bar was alright, a little messy but the ingredients looked fresh. I would say that this place is worth the price and I think they try hard to accommodate everyone’s taste.

I have had the salad bar here and it is actually pretty okay. The vegetables are fresh, tasty and cold. I like the sunflower seeds that I can sprinkle on at the end. The pizza? Cardboard. Why 4 stars? My kid LOVES Mr. Gatti’s. It was the center of his world when he was in middle school because he could walk across the street and be there after school. His tastes have developed to include many other foods but he still hearts Gatti’s PIzza. Tonight he went to meet his lacrosse coach there to discuss a summer workout program. The buffet is fast and everyone can sit around a table running back for seconds and thirds whenever they wish. The soft drinks are bottomless and the pasta bar is a big hit with these carb eating guys too. I appreciate the clean tables and the good service. When I have been with him and he has asked them to make a special kind of pizza, they do it. It is a nice family pizza place close to home.
