Specialties
We are a gastro food trailer serving up creative bistro style cuisine. Our most popular items are the Cabrito burger served with bonito sweet potato fries, the soft shell crab sandwich with caraway napa cabbage slaw and eggplant fries, & marinated lamb chops on pecorino risotto. Many creative specials daily. Come out and give us a try, embrace the Goat and dance under the stars.
History
Established in 2011.
After owning fine dining restaurants in the Caribbean, Giggling Goat owner /chef Chad Nunez has come to love Austin and embraced all things weird. He has wanted to create a food trailer for years so the Goat was born. He and Erik Bennett (Le Cordon Bleu graduate) are continuously creating new items for our guest. Why do people work in a food trailer with limited space, gas that runs out in the middle of the rush, varying weather conditions, constantly refilling and emptying tanks of water because we have passion for creating great food. Simply that.
Meet the Business Owner
Chad N.
Business Owner
Chad has had many years of experience in the restaurant industry, from his humble start as a busboy and grill cook to his owning and operating multiple establishments. Is it passion or stupidity that keep him in the rigorous restaurant business? He has been trying to figure that one out for a while, all he knows is that he can’t stop cooking. Peace and Grease
