Go Green Heating & Cooling

I had an emergency situation: my drain line had clogged and was causing a leak in my downstairs neighbor’s ceiling. I called 4 AC places. Go Green was the only one that returned my call, and, as it turns out, that was for the best. A young man named Patrick was able to come at 8:00 p.m. The problem was taken care of by 8:45. Very efficient, friendly service and reasonable price, especially considering that it was emergency service. I highly recommend!

I am absolutely thrilled with my experience with Go Green Heating & Cooling. 5 Star service all the way and here is a lengthy, detailed breakdown as to why:
1) My A/​C stopped working about 9pm on a Wednesday night and my pregnant wife is in the «hot and uncomfortable» phase of the third trimester, so getting the A/​C repaired quickly was a very big deal. I checked Unilocal for reviews and saw that Go Green Heating & Cooling was highly ranked and close to my home. I called at 7am (because I mistakenly thought that was when they were open) and my call was taken by an after-​hours answering service. The woman who took my call was polite, took my information, and said that she would page the on call technician. Aaron Rodriguez called me back 3 minutes later, was very nice, and told me that he would leave a message with the scheduler so that they could get me an appointment once the office opened.
2) I was awake and caffeinated by 8am, so I called Go Green again. The woman who answered my call (different from the answering service) was also very polite and said «Is this Andrew? I was about to give you a call.» Needless to say, this proved to me that Aaron and the scheduler (I apologize that I forgot your name) were on the ball. The scheduler got me an appointment for 12:30 — 1:30 pm the same day. She also told me up front that there was a service call fee. I was expecting this but it was nice to be told about it anyway. No surprises is always appreciated.
3) About 8:45, Aaron called me to say that he had just completed a job that took less time than he anticipated and that he was now available if I wanted him to come over early. I said yes and he arrived about 15 minutes later.
4) Aaron was, again, very polite. He put on shoe covers before coming in my house even when I said that it wasn’t necessary. He was also very polite and patient with my 3 year old that wanted to talk to him about Disney princesses.
5) After I redirected the three year old, Aaron got right to work and diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes (blown capacitor on the compressor fan motor). He also told me what the cost of the replacement part was and asked if it was ok for him to do the repair work. All very straight forward and efficient which I appreciate.
6) Aaron didn’t have the replacement part in his truck, so he told me he would have to go back to his office to get it. He estimated that it would take him about 30 minutes to get it and come back. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, Aaron was back and replacing the blown capacitor. 10 minutes later, my A/​C was fixed.
7) Aaron took care of the billing right there on the spot. Everything was just as he and the scheduler said it would be and there were no hidden fees, surprises, or anything else. He also gave me some helpful advice about filter replacement maintenance and wrote the details down on my invoice so I wouldn’t have to try to remember the instructions. Very helpful.
The whole process took 3 hours and 19 minutes (starting from my first call at 7am until everything was wrapped up and Aaron was on his way to the next job).
All in all, I could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely give Go Green Heating & Cooling a call if anything ever goes wrong with my either of my heating or cooling systems.

GoGreen is a life saver! They’re fast, very knowledgable, honest, hard working, and are totally the cat’s pajamas.
Our air conditioner went out on us and the temperature in our home shot up fast. We attempted to go through another service. I won’t go into details beyond saying that we were without cooling for 3 days and were told we would need a whole new outside unit for a total of $ 1500.
We gave GoGreen a call on someone’s suggestion and our service technician was here to check it out the same day!
Aaron took a look, explained everything he was doing and answered any questions we had through the process. It turned out we only needed one part! A power condenser later we were on the road to Coolsville. We immediately signed on for a maintenance plan (we asked about it, we weren’t ‘sold’ anything), as we knew these were the only guys we are going to want touching this machine again. The 10% discount for being part of the maintenance plan was pretty sweet too! Aaron went through the process of checking out our unit overall and performing the routine maintenance, and now I know that our unit is in good condition!
I am, at last, comfortable in my home. My family and my pets are comfortable. I only wish that GoGreen had been our first call!

My furnace had went out so I called the original installer. He came out and took apart some parts and said he would have to come back. Over a week went by and not a word from the clown, no return phone calls, no answers to text messages NOTHING,
So I called Go Green. They came out on Monday assessed the problem and what parts were needed, got the parts Tuesday and Wednesday back up and running. Since my unit was only two years old they made sure the parts were warrantied which was a plus.
Hats off to Aaron Rodriguez, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Go Green is the best period.

Andrew Cunningham’s business card reads Service Manager and Comfort Consultant and I can say that is most appropriate. Go Green was my second opinion and Andrew confirmed what I had been told. He patiently explained several options and even took pictures so i would understand why i needed the repairs. His contract prices with descriptions were reasonable and included a better brand. Stellar job by the Go Green team! I called on Saturday, had an inspection and estimate appointment on Monday and the work done on Tuesday. Andrew was spot on with time on both of his appointments. He was clean cut, dressed better than I was and incredibly professional for the entire process. Every finding was explained, documented with pictures to show the problem areas and all my questions were answered. When the work was done, the clean-​up afterwards was excellent. Everyone I spoke with was courteous and professional. Go Green totally hit it out of the park and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.

AC went out on Friday night… had a miserable time trying to sleep in the heat and humidity. Called Go Green at 9 am on Saturday and scheduled an appt. with Patrick. He arrived at 11:30 and had the AC fixed by noon. He provided expert, courteous, affordable service. What else can you ask for??? Go Green!

Patrick was awesome! Came out and fixed my AC. They were fast and polite, plus gave me tips on how to better maintain the HVAC.
Plus the price was totally reasonable. Highly recommend — these guys are the best and I’m a customer for life.

In a time when finding a business that values its customer first is so difficult; Brent and his Go Green team go above and beyond. After my first service call did not resolve the problem. They really took it personally that my system was not functioning and made themselves available at all hours to get it right. For reliability, great service and professionalism this local company is superior!!!

The guys at Go Green are true professionals. They all have excellent customer service skills and do wonderful work. I was very impressed with the young man that came out yesterday and got our AC cooling perfectly on a 100 degree day. He was very knowledgable and very respectful. I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone.

I love Go Green! From start to finish, they were absolutely top notch! Cars and HVACs are two things that, as a female, I always feel I might get rip-​off on so I was not happy when my a/​c unit was not working properly. I called in late Friday morning and the lady I spoke with on the phone was so sweet and accommodating. She was able to squeeze me in same day and was very helpful over the phone. The technician Aaron called when he was on his way and showed up earlier than scheduled. He was quick and gave me money saving tips. I HIGHLY recommend Go Green! There is a reason they have many great reviews and 5 stars.

We’re at 10 days in a row over 100 degrees, so when your air conditioning goes out, you aren’t a happy camper. LUCKILY Go Green Heating & Cooling saved the day for us. I had originally scheduled with a bigger company and after waiting 3 hours after the time spot they were supposed to show up, I canceled the appointment and called Go Green. Dustin came over to our house WITHIN AN HOUR of me calling. He was so professional and easy to talk to. He explained everything that was wrong with the system (so that I could actually understand it!) and fixed it so fast! We are so thankful for their company of honest and fast working guys! You are definitely number one on our speed dial for air conditioning repairs in the future!!! THANK YOU GUYS!!!

The A/​C Gods have answered my prayers! My 14 year old A/​C has been brought back from the dead twice in this 100 degree temperature. My house became a sauna and I picked up the phone and Brent came to the rescue! Each time I thought for sure it had given up the ghost – but Nope! Brent was able to rescue it twice this summer at a very reasonable cost. The first time it needed more freon, the second time bad wiring replaced. He will take the time to explain to you and show you what needs to be fixed which as a woman who has had to deal with her share of mechanics I really appreciate. He could have easily tried to sell me a new unit and I probably would have been none the wiser-​but Nope! He is diligent, trustworthy, and honest. If you need A/​C repair or replacement, please don’t hesitate to give him a call. You will be singing his praises too!

We called Go Green at 8am after our AC stopped functioning the evening before. I spoke with Nancy and let her know that we’d like to get someone to come out as soon as possible. We had called around to a few service teams, but most were booking appointments for the afternoon/​evening. In this heat, time is of the essence. I asked Nancy if someone could come before the afternoon, and Nancy made it happen. Dustin came by the house and diagnosed/​fixed the problem, all within an hour of arriving later that morning. We signed up for their Preventative Maintenance Plan. Their efficiency and attention to detail gave us trust to have them perform service for us regularly. We’re incredibly thankful to Nancy and Dustin for helping us beat the heat and stay cool again. Go Green: they’ll get ‘er done.

Aaron Rodriguez came out in an emergency, 90 minutes after my call, that in itself is worth 4 stars. Looked at my system told me what was wrong, this is after Fox came and charged me for work they didn’t do which cost me hundreds of dollars in repairs later, but that’s another review. Go Green didn’t charge me one penny and Aaron was polite, professional, up in my 110 degree attic for 20 minutes evaluating my situation. I’ll definitely have them replace my HVAC. The only reason I haven’t given them 5 stars is because they haven’t made any actual repairs.

After a GoGreen service technician misdiagnosed my HVAC problem and a second opinion fixed the issue at a much less cost, I was contracted by the GoGreen service manager who offered an apology and steps to prevent that from happening again. They even included reimbursing me for the second opinion.

Very pleased! They came out the same day I called, fixed the problem and charged a reasonable rate! Can’t get much better than that!

These guys are so great! I am so happy to have found this company. When our a/​c went out I gave them a call after seeing all of the rave reviews on Unilocal.Well, they deserve them. They handled everything quickly, fairly, and personably. And I love that they communicate so well and patiently. Such nice guys. Good people!
