Grateful Threads

Chris is awesome! I am a bar manager and he fixed my booths for me, they look brand new. I will definitely be coming back to him for any other upholstery needs I have. In fact we are already talking about redoing the curtains on my stage. Highly recommended!

My ONE star rating is strictly based on the estimate I received from Grateful Threads. I sent them detailed photos and dimensions of the cushions I needed recovered. I removed them from the boat, promised to deliver them and pick them up. I also agreed to supply the fabric and all materials, I simply needed labor. Their estimate was $ 3,500. (Half of this job would require only a scissors and a staple gun or glue.) Compared to the 8 other quotes I received based on the exact same email I sent out… Chris was $ 1,900 HIGHER than everyone else… yes, double of the next lowest quote. It was almost comical to see his estimate. Anyways… he might do the best work in Austin, I have no idea… but nobody is worth 2x as much as everyone else.
