Finding this place is half the battle. Just follow the signs(thank god for the signs) around the back of the warehouses, park in the yellow lines and locate the door, NEXT to the yellow door. From there, it’s smooth sailin to pure entertainment. We went to see Rocky Horror with a small group that included two die hard, know every prop and call line, and one RH virgin, who was properly marked on her forehead with a lipstick«V» by the director before the show. As for myself, I’m a huge fan… particularly of the androgynous Frankenfurter. We first grabbed some drinks for a small«donation»(wine *don’t do it* and Austin Hardciders), got our prop bags and entered into a very small, cozy theater. Needless to say, we all had high expectations and standards for this show and it did not disappoint. All the actors and musicians were amazingly talented. I wrongly assumed such a small production would be maybe a little less grandiose or over the top. These folks have huge voices and can can-can with the best of them, even the boys in heels. Their Frankenfurter gorgeously sported the requisite muscles in corsettes and stockings and gave Tim Curry a run for his money in the attitude department. Yum! My virgin friend had no idea what she was getting herself into… and, I still believe, she has really no idea what she witnessed, but she laughed all the way thru and tossed her props on cue with the rest of us. This was the only show I’ve seen here and I really would highly recommend any production here. Don’t let the size and location fool you, this is quality entertainment and enthusiastic staff and performers for a great price.

Really believe supporting local arts and moving to a city like Austin I hope this theater gets the support and attention it deserves. It’s a little tricky to find amongst the warehouses but there is signage to guide the way. We saw their performance of avenue q and the performers were great. Also beer for $ 3 and wine $ 4 make for fun as well. Look forward to seeing future performances here.
