Waxing isn’t supposed to be fun. It’s also supposed to hurt and irritate your skin. Gypsy Rose made me reconsider all of these waxing maxims I used to live by. Had an amazing experience here. Sounds strange, but I can’t wait to go back (seriously)!!
SPACE: beautifully appointed airstream trailer. Clean, bright, and surprisingly spacious; adorable décor. Very uncluttered. You can tell that everything has been thoughtfully chosen and laid out for maximum function without wasting an inch of space. Plants and assorted treasures add to the charm of this special place.
PRODUCT: my aesthetician tried out two different waxes on my face to see which would react with my skin’s chemistry better. Generally I leave any waxing appointment with red, splotchy skin and a bit of sensitivity. Not here! The naturally derived products they use actually soothed my skin… I couldn’t believe it. No pain during the wax and no sensitivity or redness afterward. I was shocked. (They smelled great too — I loved the rose wax!)
TALENT: Belle took amazing care of my skin — her waxing style was gentle but effective. She made sure to tell me a bit about the products she was using and took the time to see how they reacted with my skin. This is no «waxing factory» like other places I’ve been to. I met the owner briefly and she was great too. These ladies obviously really care about your skin and want you to leave looking great and feeling great too!
Could not recommend this unique place highly enough!

This place is super cute! I’ve been a client of Annette for years now. She’s the *only* one I let touch my eyebrows. She always does a fabulous job, and is simply a joy. Love the products that she uses, and her attention to detail.
