H2O Hand Car Wash & Detail

Not very busy but took about 35 minutes. Kinda like getting an oil change but at least the car was clean.

After being a loyal customer for over 10 years, I’m never going back. The past 3 times I have waited twice the time I was told but kept going back because they always do a good job. Today I was greeted by a guy who asked why won’t I get an executive wash instead of just the basic… Then proceeded to try and get me to have a small chip in my windshield fixed because my insurance will pay for it. Then I asked another guy (who works there) how long is the wait and he said 45 minutes. 2 hours later my car was done, for a basic wash. My car looks great as always … But I know these guys can tell the wait time by the number of cars in line and workers and I’m simply sick of being lied to in order to get me to stay. And to get pushed right away by some dude that doesn’t even work there (imperial glass I believe) about the kind of wash I’m getting and a tiny little chip in my windshield… No thanks guys, have a little respect for your customers.

H2O gives you what you pay for. They are fast and efficient but sometimes miss spots on my car. The added bonus is they have WiFi in their waiting room. My biggest complaint is you have to carry cast if you want to tip instead of adding it to your credit card.

I would not go here if my life depended on it. I see people from there at the corner store. Some have eye tear tats. That means they have killed someone and have no problem broadcasting it. NOPE!

I was not impressed. First time taking my car here and costumer service was horrible. I went to pay and the guy didn’t even acknowledge me when I was paying he was to worried about «about getting stuck here all day». I still had a lot of spots on my car and the windows had streaks. They seem to always be busy so i took a chance. Not going there again.

This place rules. The staff were super friendly and helpful even on a cold Sunday afternoon. They didn’t try and upsell me anything I didn’t want. Great price with the groupon and my truck is squeaky clean. Nice waiting area with multiple tvs. I will be back for sure.

Took my very dirty van to be cleaned and they did a pretty good job. There is still a lot of dust on my dashboard, the windows are streaked where they wiped them, and they missed a few spots on the outside when they were wiping it down. They were quick, I was there by 8:15 AM and out by 845 a.m. which was nice, but not sure it was worth $ 40.

Won’t be back. Spent $ 50 including tip on an Executive Car Wash and was extremely unimpressed. Had my kids with me and even they commented on the lack of attention to detail. The floors were filthy, and the exterior was still dusty and dirty– so much so that I had to pick up a towel and dry it myself.

I’ve been a «VIP Customer» at H2O for over 2-​years with ZERO regrets. Glad to see they got the blue shade back up for the team. Everyone is super courteous and my truck comes out perfect each and every time.
I recommend the H20 — Brodie location to all my friends and family.
It’s been 4-​months since my last update and I have to tell you the the Brodie location ROCKS!!! Keep it up team — I reference y’all to everyone.

This place is great! Rudy and his guy went above and beyond to get my car looking awesome!

They were nice enough but paid for an Executive detail package ($ 250.00) and they missed spots on the wash. Interior was alright but yhey didn’t clean around door seals and entirely missed trunk and lower rear window.
I was very disappointed because I paid for, what I thought was the best package, it was not worth the price. Maybe this place is ok for a quick wash but if you desire a really thorough detail job, this is NOT the place to go.

I came on a Sunday morning and was greeted upon pulling into the lot. My car was in and out within 25 mins and looked way cleaner than I’ve been able to get it.
Nice little waiting room area. Efficient and nice employees. I’ll be back!

Well worth the price! I was concerned that the place was a bit small and the building didn’t have all the usual bells and whistles but it was one of the best car washes I’ve had in Austin. The wait time was also under 30 min.

Horrible service!!! I will never go back and you shouldn’t either! The guy called me a liar right to my face. The car was still filthy, dash board all dusty, and the windshield was worse when I left than when I got there. Horrible service!

They did an ok job cleaning the car. Missed a few dirty spots though. The thing that really makes me mad was that they STOLE my change and my car charger for my cell phone.

Worst «car wash» I’ve ever had. They didn’t even clean half my front windshield. Can’t believe I paid $ 40 and waited 1.5hrs for this cruddy service. Never again.

Two hours to get your car washed come on Brodie location you are better than that…

Okay boys and girls I haven’t washed my car in weeks and those who know me probably can’t believe that. But anyway it was too beautiful of a day not to get it done plus the weather forecast was looking immaculate for the rest of the week. I checked beforehand on Unilocal and saw the reviews, so I knew what I was coming into.
So when I pulled up I was told to get into a certain lane by the worker guy and when I got out he greeted the car behind me first??? WTF. Then I realized it was cute looking girl in that car… not gonna lie I would have done that too so I’ll give it pass. Just asked to do the basic wash $ 18 (let me feel you guys out first, if you do good I may do the up sell next time). Anyways I go inside and pay the front desk and noticed a sign that they can’t put the gratuity on credit card transactions… c’mon man. Instead, it states there’s an ATM to pull cash to tip the workers outside. That’s just plain lazy folks… I’m willing to bet most of the business transactions are credit card related why not add the gratuity feature… it is a service based… industry…right??? Alright back to the point at hand I did have money on me (thank god) the ATM had a service fee (there goes the tip money).
So I was sitting in the waiting area nice and climate controlled. My overall wait was about an hour more or less (yes yes it took a while). Thank goodness for the FREE wifi (always a plus) so I could get some business done.
I saw my car being worked on from the hand wash to hand dry/​tire dress to vacuuming. 2 on the wash 4 on second half touch up. I think I know where the hold up is coming from. Again I had the time and wifi to keep me occupied but if I was on break or time crunch I could see how the other reviewers could be irrattated. Again coordination could remedy this.
In the end I got the call for pick up, tipped the guy, and did my look over of the work. Remember I haven’t washed my car in weeks so I definitely could see that the job was well done along with the door/​indoor linings with vacuuming (I read someone else’s remark of having them redo theirs… that sucks man). Overall I was satisfied with the results, but my only complaints were the credit card/​no grat??? and the pace. Both can be fixed easily, but the actual service I came for was well met.
Guess a wax and buff is next on the list.

I should know better, but there are not a ton of convenient car wash options south of the river (which stinks because you’re not allowed to wash your own car in Austin). But anyway, my car was sitting idle for over 20 minutes with 9 cars ahead of me. Then I waited an additional hour to get the keys. The demand is there, but they’re either not staffed for it, or they’re INCREDIBLY slow (or both). Making matters worse, the quality of the wash, as usual was not great. (Water spots, dirt around handles and wheel wells, lost of missed areas. Why am I here?

I get the executive wash every other month and I am usually pleased with the outcome. The car always looks great. There is occasionally one very small item missed on the inside, but I haven’t noticed that in the last couple of visits. In my opinion the cost of this wash is worth it. I see a lot of reviewers say they could do better on their own, but I don’t usually have the time to spend a couple of hours washing my car myself.
The staff are friendly and the waiting area has ample seating plus free wifi. They usually have pretty quick service.
