Holt Concrete Works

I have several good friends in the structural engineering business and I polled them to get a list of vendors for a driveway project at my home. I reached out to four different companies for bids include Larry Holt at Holt Concrete Works.
The responsiveness for two of the other companies was not good. I eventually got numbers but had to call multiple times to follow up. The third company was solid and came back with their price for the job.
When I reached out to Larry, however, the responsiveness was unequaled. Not only did he answer on the first call, he arranged to meet me at my house later that same day. He then delivered a quote by the next morning that was competitive (the quotes all ranged from $ 17K to 20K) and we agreed to a start date and a targeted end-​date.
Throughout the project Larry and his team were completely professional and Larry remained very easy to reach. We made a couple of changes to the project as well and Larry took it all in stride and still delivered (in spite of several rain days) on-​time with no price changes.
I would definitely recommend Holt Concrete Works to anyone looking for residential concrete work in the Austin area. Additionally Larry has my contact information and I can provide pictures of the work done or speak with you personally to answer questions.

HORRIBLE! Worst service and professionalism ever. The owner is rude and refuses to fix problems he created.
First, he read our blueprint wrong and did not make the garage a garage. Then when he «fixed» it, he did not do it to code, then refused to fix it to where it would pass inspection.
Then the sidewalk he made did not pass inspection. Once again he refused to fix it. Does NOT stand by his work. He hangs up on us when we try to call and get things resolved.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!
