I-​Renovate was established in 2010 by Isaac Pharris. Over the past several years we have done a wide range of jobs for a wide range of people. We love helping people make their homes beautiful.

Business Owner

Isaac Pharris is the founder of I-​Renovate Austin, a renovation company in Austin, TX. He has managed small businesses for others over the past 11 years. In 2010, he decided to follow his dreams and start his own business. Using the experience he gained from his past, he started I-​Renovate. He is passionate about giving his customers exactly what they want, and bringing their visions to reality.

I had a plumbing leak in one of the bathrooms that damaged the drywall and vanity cabinet. Isaac repaired the drywall, replaced the vanity cabinet, installed new shower hardware, and re-​tiled the floor. His prices were reasonable and he was really great about communicating throughout the entire process. Most importantly he was very honest from start to finish and now the bathroom looks lovely. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend him!

Issac has now helped me to ‘make ready’ two investment properties. This included brand new interior paint, some minor fixes here and there, and two major bathroom remodels. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Issac and his crew were very professional and communicated with me throughout the entire process. I’m happy to report that both properties rented within a week after the upgrades were complete. Thank you I-​Renovate!

BEWARE!!! Don’t waste your time trying to contact for a quote. Both my husband and I attempted via phone and email to get a repair estimate from this business. When we first reached out we did not have our claims check yet. If you are looking to have repairs done after an insurance claim this is not the place to call. I was informed by the owner that he simply does not have time to offer quotes in repairs he may not get. I must have been under the delusion that quoting repairs is part of the contractor process. BEWARE don’t waste your time trying to get a quote. Apparently they have more business than they can handle, for now at least. Here is the email below:

To be clear that is not what you stated in your service request. My experience with insurance claims has involved me doing a lot of work to get someone a quote and not getting the job. I don’t know why but I have literally never gotten a job I quoted that involved an insurance claim. So I stopped quoting them. My business is a very small one and we are getting an overwhelming number of service requests now. I simply don’t have time to quote jobs that my experience has shown me I will not get

Isaac and his crew did the following for our 1983, new-​to-​us house: tile in entry and bathrooms, replacement of trim in those areas, new tile on hearth/​fireplace and painting of cabinets. We are happy with the work that was done. If this were a categorized review, I would give 5 stars for communication, Isaac’s general professionalism and decorum with clients, his willingness to work with my pickiness, and for doing things on time in a tight timeline. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars for everything is that the crews present didn’t clean up very well after the work was done and that has cost us more time and a little more money. Would hire Isaac again (and probably will!)

Isaac fixed some minor water damage in my master bathroom that involved replacing some tiles, swapping out a baseboard/​door frame, and patching a hole in the ceiling.
I must say that he did an excellent job, starting with replying to my inquiry and keeping in communication via text and email to schedule the work.
I was totally comfortable having him in my home. He also stuck to the estimate — which was nice considering he didn’t charge and arm and a leg but didn’t low-​ball either.
I’d hire him again for similar work in a heartbeat.

Isaac did a great job on a tile demo for us. Lots and lots of Saltillo – it was lovely but it didn’t fit and its gone. He was very professional, very up front and detailed about what was involved. He and his crew prepped the house very well so that the dust was kept well under control. He has even helped us make decisions about parts of the project that we are doing ourselves (in order to save money). We definitely recommend Isaac and I Renovate!

We just met with Isaac for an initial quote for an upcoming bathroom remodel. He was on time and spent a great deal of time with us talking through our ideas and plans. During the meeting, it became clear to him that our job is a bit outside the scope and scale that he usually handles, and he was really up front and honest about that. He gave us some great recommendations of alternate contractors who typically handle renovations at the scale we are planning and continued to spend time with us talking through our ideas.
Overall a wonderful meeting, and the honesty and recommendations are truly appreciated.

Isaac was fantastic to work with. We were remodeling our kitchen and wanted to take down our high bar before we had granite installed. This included cutting down the high bar, repairing the drywall, evening the surface, etc. He also removed our backsplash and our old counters.
Everything turned out great. He was really easy to communicate with and even offered us suggestions for the DIY projects we were doing in the kitchen. He’s just a friendly, smart guy.

Isaac was great! Professional, courteous, on time, good communicator, and did good work. He listened to everything we had to say and gave us great suggestions.
We had a small closet that needed painting, a new top shelf, and we wanted to add 3 new side shelfs. He did it all within the time promised and at a very reasonable rate. We’ll probably use him in the future and highly recommend him to you.

Isaac at I Renovate Austin is the best! I have used him to hang a very tough TV (attaching it to bricks) and he did an unreal job! I plan on using him again for numerous other projects. His attention to detail is unreal!

This was the second time that I hired I Renovate for a project. I have a rental property that was in distress from years of deferred maintenance. Isaac and his I Renovate crew transformed it into a beautiful home. Isaac is a very skilled contractor and provides superior customer service. Our to-​do list was very long, and Isaac completed everything with attention to detail. Among other things, he and his crew painted the house inside and out, removed popcorn from the ceilings, put in new tile and laminate flooring, installed new exterior doors, refinished the kitchen cabinets, completely remodeled two bathrooms, repaired exterior siding and fencing, installed new light fixtures and ceiling fans. Isaac is honest, trustworthy and very personable. He also has an eye for design and even helped me pick out materials. He did an amazing job on our house and we were able to rent it out within days of completion. I will definitely call him for future projects.

I heard about Isaac through a friend (who also gave rave reviews). I had initially wanted him to hang my TV and ended up having him help hang my TV, hang a very heavy, very old mirror and take out shelving in my closet.
Each task was done meticulously and flawlessly. The mirror wasn’t easy to hang and so he had to come back for a second visit with new tools and hanging equipment. He was creative and resourceful and it came out beautifully.
In addition to being skilled at his trade, Isaac is friendly and easy to be around. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for any kind of renovation, installation or assembly.
