History

Established in 2015.

Iain Howe is originally from Scotland, and moved to the Austin area in 1995 to attend the University of Texas. After graduating from UT with a Masters in Professional Accounting, and passing all 4 sections of the CPA exam in one sitting, Iain began working for Temple-​Inland in their corporate tax department. 5 years later, Iain accepted an offer from Freescale Semiconductor to work in their corporate tax department. From there, having garnered experience in the corporate sector, Iain branched into public accounting, working first for the CPA firm Flieller, Kruger, Skelton & Plyler, and then later, Atchley & Associates. After 7 years in public accounting, Iain decided to branch out and start his own CPA firm with another CPA, and so Iain Howe, CPA & Associates, PLLC was born.

Originally from Scotland; 8 years in corporate accounting (Temple-​Inland & Freescale Semiconductor); 7 years in public accounting.

Graduate from the Professional Program in Accounting at the University of Texas at Austin, with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting.

Served on the board and finance committee for local not-​for-​profit organizations.
