Jackson’s Moving and Delivery

So glad I came across this company, I can see why so many rave reviews-​they don’t disappoint! I only Unilocal when the service is either really bad or excellent, These guys are awesome!
I needed someone to assemble a double bookcase I purchased from Home Decorators and to fix my cabinet lazy Suzan. Although primarily a moving company-​these folks do it all.
Jackson, the owner was very upfront about being a little short handed when I first contacted him but I was given a reasonable date & time for the following week. Lamont showed up exactly on time and finished both projects beautifully within the 2 hour minimum and price I was quoted. He was very personable, polite and especially knowledgeable. He gave me input on some future projects I wanted to do; installing lights & mounting a tv over my fireplace.
It’s just so nice to find a business that does exactly what they advertise. I will definitely use them again and refer them to my friends

Jackson’s moving was so great! My movers were professional and so helpful. They showed up exactly on time and my move was quick and easy. I’ve already referred others and will use them again when I move in the future.

Moving is usually a huge headache but Christian and Milton were great and made the entire process painless and stress-​free. They were friendly, speedy, and professional. They broke down, moved, and set up an entire bedroom set in about 75 minutes. There were no hassles and no hidden costs at the end. They charged me exactly what they estimated up front. I will be using Jackson’s again for any moves I have in the future, and definitely requesting these guys again.

Excellent in service, speed, and personality! I had a last minute move and booked 3 days ahead of the date I needed to be out. They really do specialize in last minute moves! They moved all of my stuff quickly, carefully, and re-​assembled all my furniture. I had an extremely heavy armoire that needed to be moved three flights of stairs… without elevators. They moved my armoire perfectly. I walked away without any new scratches or damaged items! They asked if I was satisfied with how the set up went, and if I wanted anything re-​arranged, they happily did it till I was happy. Will forever recommend Jackson’s Moving and Delivery to whoever needs it, as well as continue to use them for any future moves I might have!
My movers were Abraham and Christian. They were extremely respectful, fast, and professional. Extremely satisfied customer!

Christian and Milton moved me and did a great job. They were efficient and even more importantly very considerate of my things and making sure everything was protected during the move. I have moved many times and every other time is has been a case of just getting it done and moving on to the next one, and almost every time something was damaged. Not so with these two, they took their time and made sure it was done right. Greatly appreciate the great job they did. Will definitely be using them the next time I move!

Fast, meticulous, and courteous, these guys are the best of the best. We had to remove all furniture from our house for a week to have work done on our floors. They helped us squeeze everything into our garage in an organized way, with a walkway down the side so we could still come and go through the space. They were very careful with our piano and kitchen appliances. When they came back to unpack the garage two weeks later, they remembered where everything went. They went over by a few minutes on their clock but did not charge me extra. In short, they did everything they could to deliver a great customer experience.

Milton & Armando moved a piano I bought and did a fantastic job. They were careful and friendly. (And contrary to what another review said, they arrived in a truck with «Jackson’s Moving & Delivery» on the side with their logo.)
Even better, the owner was incredibly patient and responsive when — in a mistake fully my own — I told them they had failed to show up. It ends up that I was wrong and forgot to call back and confirm the appointment time as they had asked me to. (I was purchasing a piano and told them I needed to confirm the time with the seller and then forgot to call them back.) Despite it being my goof, the owner worked late to arrange a move for the next day. It was unnecessary on his part but this company clearly goes above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy.

Jackson’s Moving moved a HUGE refrigerated wine cabinet from one home to my house — on the second floor! Not an easy move and they were awesome. They handled the cabinet carefully and properly wrapped it to prevent any kind of damage. They were equally careful in my home, moving it up the stairs, being careful with my walls and flooring.
Very professional, careful and courteous. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Great moving company. I recommend them to everyone. The owner was really nice. I meet him at my job and expressed how I was moving and needed help. He scheduled my appointment right then and there. A few days before my move I had to change my moving date and he accommodated me. The movers Milton and Armando arrived and they were very fast and professional. They got me all packed up and moved within 2 hours. Thank you guys so much for all your help. GREAT COMPANY!

These guys were super professional and on time even though they said they may be late. Definitely under promised and over delivered. I’m super happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone in need.

I honestly have no idea how this company has so many 5 star reviews. I used them to move on 10÷7÷15 and was extremely unsatisfied. I chose them because of the good reviews and they had a special on Wednesdays that was cheaper per hour than any other day. I believe it was $ 90 per hour. I was transferring apartments within the same complex so it wasn’t a far move. I’m just going to list the things that I didn’t like.
1. They sent two guys and they showed up in an Enterprise rental truck that looked a little small, even for my one bedroom apartment. I thought that was strange. Most, actually ALL, moving companies I’ve seen have had their own company trucks. That should have been my first clue.
2. I had a bucket of water in the kitchen that I had been using to mop, so it was dirty mop water that I was still using, and while I was downstairs getting something from my car one of the guys knocked it over and spilled the whole bucket in the kitchen. I know this was an accident, but when I came back up he was pulling off wads of paper towels to sop it up which was ridiculous to me. There was no way paper towels would get all that water up AND they were my last rolls of paper towels that I was using to clean the old apartment. I ended up having to look through my boxes for some towels to clean it up which was just a huge pain.
3. When they moved my bed they did not use the Allen wrench that I provided to remove the headboard. They carried the whole bed, headboard and frame, down 3 flights of stairs. I wish I would have said something but I didn’t because I didn’t was to be that annoying customer. Sure enough, my leather bed frame had 3 scratches on it. When they brought the bed into the new apartment I’m sure it was banged up coming through the door because the door has a small hallway area before it that you have to walk through. My dad ended up taking the headboard off anyway because the whole bed wouldn’t fit through my new bedroom door. I’ve moved a bed 2 other times before this and the movers removed the headboard both times without me even asking them to.
4. When they went to move my washer and dryer, they didn’t have a wrench. So they asked me if I had one. Luckily I did but I had to get in my car and drive to the new apartment and get it then bring it back because my dad had it at the new apartment in his tool box. But what if I didn’t have one? Why didn’t they have the proper tools to disconnect the washer and dryer when I was told that they would be able to move them? That’s just ridiculous to me.
5. Sure enough, there wasn’t enough room in the truck so when they were done loading everything there wasn’t enough room for my bookcase so one of the guys loaded it up on a dolly and walked it to my new apartment. When I set it up in the new apartment I had to put one of those pads under two of the legs so it wouldn’t wobble. I didn’t have to put the pads on them before. Thankfully that was the only problem with the bookcase.
6. When they were moving my stuff into the new apartment, I was moving stuff around, kind of looking through stuff, and they had stuffed my dogs toys with the cloth bin in the dirty kitchen trash can with the trash can lid. The lid of the trash can had come apart and the springs were missing. It was one of those lids that pop up so it’s useless without the springs. So I asked them where the springs were and they ended up finding them on the truck which was great. The dog toys were already in a bin so I didn’t feel that needed to be put inside anything else, especially the dirty kitchen trash can.
7. Finally, when I went to pay I used a credit card and they told me there was a 3% fee for using a credit card. No one had ever told me that. I told him that no one had ever told me that so he said he would just say he forgot to charge it or something like that, since I was obviously upset.
The thing that upsets me the most is the bed not being taken apart, since now my once new leather bed is now permanently scratched up. I will definitely do more research next time I choose a moving company and go by recommendations from friends and family, not just the best price.

Darryl, Milton & Christian arrived on time and did an amazing job! They were careful, quick and professional. Christian even played with my dogs, easing the stress for their move too! I am so impressed with this company, moving is usually the worst, but these guys made it easy and fun. If you need anything moved call Jackson’s — you’ll be glad you did!

I used Jackson’s Moving and Delivery to move all of my possessions from a storage space to my new home. When I booked my appointment, I was confused and thought it was for 1pm when it was really for 12pm. Jackson’s Moving worked with me and showed up at 1pm.
My movers were Milton and Eddie. These guys are consummate professionals: courteous, on task and efficient. I was blown away with how quickly they moved my stuff and nothing was damaged.
Although I hope not to move ever again, I would definitely use Jackson’s Moving and Delivery the next time.

After contacting several moving companies that are all highly rated here in Unilocal,I decided to go with Jackson’s Moving because their hourly pricing was the most competitive. Also, they were the first to respond to my request for a quote and continued to be very responsive via email until I finalized the booking with them.
On the day of the move, Daryl & Armando arrived earlier than scheduled, which was good. We were told to expect them between 9−10am, but they arrived well before 9. They were both very polite, hardworking, and professional. My husband and I were wary about movers that would work slowly so that we get charged more, but Daryl & Armando were certainly not those types of movers! They worked very quickly and moved our 1-​bedroom apartment to a 2-​story home in 2hrs and 30min. Daryl initially told us the move would take only 2 hours but it ended up being 30 minutes more because of our apartment’s extremely tricky entryway. There were a few knicks on the apartment doorway but I knew they did the best they could given the very tight space they had to work with. Plus, they took extreme care moving the furniture in to our brand new home. In the end, Daryl kept his word and charged us for a total of 2 hours only, which we appreciated very much!
The only thing I would add to make their business even better is for them to issue some sort of confirmation document to make the whole booking process more official and to give the customer something to hold on to for their records. But all in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Jackson’s Moving again for any future moves we may have.

I scheduled a move with Jackson’s Moving and Delivery after seeing their very positive reviews. They told me they would arrive between 9 and 10 AM. Around 9AM I got a courtesy call that they would arrive in about 20 – 30 minutes.
Abraham and Albert arrived about 925 and I signed the work sheet which showed a 930 work begin time. They began loading stuff very quickly and efficiently. They unloaded a 1000 sq ft apartment, drove 20 minutes, and unloaded, including carrying dozens of boxes upstairs, all in two and a half hours.
I was very pleased with all aspects of Abraham and Albert and Jackson’s Moving and Delivery.

We called about 4 places for quotes that all had 5 stars. We ended up going with these guys and were very satisfied. Abraham, Anthony and Christian showed up. They were very polite, professional and hardworking guys. They took good care of our stuff, were very quick and made our move so easy. We tried to have stuff disassembled before they got there and they offered to reassemble everything for us, even hooking up our washer.
Will definitely use them again.

Jackson’s Moving is amazing. I booked my move with these guys a month in advance to load up some storage containers for a cross-​country move. Due to shenanigans from the storage container delivery folks, I had to change from a simple «load these containers» to a «bring a truck, move my stuff, and load it at the terminal» type of move. Jackson’s handled the switch perfectly with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Daryl and Milton were all-​stars. They got my large one-​bedroom cottage packed up, moved, and loaded at the terminal in 4 hours. Absolutely professional at every step, they treated my stuff with care and me with courtesy.
Five stars well deserved!

This included very large, very nice furniture pieces and a king sized bed (which they took apart and put back together for me.
