I would give dr. johnson 10 stars if i could. 5 stars doesn’t do him justice. he was so welcoming & made me feel very comfortable in my experience with him. Not only did he do a good job but he saved my life, Thank you Dr. Jeff Johnson. I would recommend him to my family because I trust & know they would be in great hands. You can see he cares a lot about his patients.

The quality of a surgeon isn’t just about the surgery but also how they perform when something goes wrong. In my experience with Jeff Johnson, he completely ignored obvious signs of infection and complaints of pain and high fever for a full month after surgery. After going to the ER, it turned out to be a staph infection from my surgery that he did not treat, and by then it spread and became life-threatening. I switched surgeons and have had four more surgeries to date to fight this. I have been living with it now for nearly a year and it’s not over yet.

After a bad mammogram, Dr. Johnson was recommended(after failed attempts at ARA and from a cancer doctor in town) for a biopsy, even though I was on a medicine that could make it difficult to get a biopsy. From the moment you walk in the door to Seton Southwest, you understand the difference between a lack of care and TOTAL care — these people are gracious, NOT condescending or patronizing, sensitive and listen to you. Dr. Johnson was a referral from another great doctor — Geoffrey Cox, who is also part o my care system. I consider myself very lucky to have these two docs. I’ve never felt more at ease in an operation environment than at Seton. These are capable and intelligent folks with total acknowledgement that perhaps you might not want to be there and might be a bit frightened of an operation. Dr. Jeff performed an incision while I was out, took out tissue, had it examined and sent it off to the lab. This was three days ago. Today, I have virtually no pain, the incision is beautiful without infection and I have more energy than ever. Dr. Jeff took a risk and it paid off. My doctors have made excellent decisions for which I am absolutely grateful. Please think about Seton Southwest when you are considering a hospital — and if you can, have any general surgery done by Dr. Johnson. It will be worth your time and possibly save your life. Thanks, doc!

I am so grateful to Dr. Johnson. Long story short, I was feeling terrible, lethargic, and was in pain. Dr. Johnson found out what the culprit was. had quality testing done, performed complication free surgery, and prescribed the correct, and curing prescription. I feel amazing now and better than I have felt in a long time:) In addition, the Dr. Johnson and the Seton Southwest staff have wonderful customer service and great bedside manner. The Seton Southwest facility is welcoming and very clean. I am so thankful for such a wonderful ending to something that started out so scary and terrible. Thank you again Dr. Johnson!!!
