John’s work displays a continuous flow of progression in style and technique. His artistic course began early on in life as he acquired and developed strong drawing skills and a curious mind for creative expression in its varied forms. As a self-​taught tattoo artist with over 20 years experience, John is continuously pushing himself towards reaching and surpassing his own artistic achievements to deliver mastery in each rendition.

His work is centered on black and grey portraiture tattoos expanding in range over a variety of black and grey styles integrating Chicano art, realism tattoos, an expressionistic approach and a glamour girl «pin up» appeal that can also be seen in his paintings.

As a realism artist, John makes an impact in people’s lives by capturing what sometimes is a personal memory of a loved one and/​or a piece of art on a canvas and most times that canvas happens to be skin. A story comes to life with every piece of art.
