This place is kind of gross. Tried eating there a few times, but it’s just not worth it. Nothing special about the brisket, the sausage wrap is a dry shriveled-up turd, and my co-worker got food poisoning after eating there once. We all steer clear of there now. Granted, I haven’t been there since it opened, so they may have fixed some things. I hope so…

Whenever I try a new BBQ joint, I always try the most humble item on the menue, the chopped beef sandwich. I had been waiting for Jr’s to open for some time, so I was all excited when I saw smoke gently wafting out of the chimney late one afternoon last week. U-turn, go to walk-up window(they have sit-down too) place order for chop-beef. They smoke with a mixture of pecan and oak. Let me tell you, I was trying to eat the air it smells so good. Got my sandwich, nice size, not crazy big nor dollar small. The first bite tells all, and this sandwich does a lot more than tell, it hollars out loud. This is not your average CB sandwich. It has chopped beef, AND some sliced beef too. Pickles onion and a delightfull light bbq sauce that is a tangy tango of ingredients they will probably never divulge.(I got extra cups on the side) So, bottom line, best chop beef I ever had. Was on special for $ 2.25 but regular is only $ 2.75. Next trip I’m going bigger and trying their brisket and sausage plate.
