Jump! Gymnastics

Won’t even let you get on a waitlist without registering your credit card with them first. I tried calling to see if there was a way around this, spoke to the owner and was told no because «That’s the way the website works.» Super shady. If you’re going to sign up with them, definitely put in a credit card so that you can dispute charges, not a debit card. And consider going somewhere else because literally no other gymnastics place in town requires this.

As soon as this place opened up by my store I was excited for my kids but I wasn’t able to send them at the time because it can be quite expensive for 2 children in the same age group for the first enrollment. But then this amazing Groupon came through that was $ 49 a child and it covered all of the «new customer» costs that had me hesitant at first plus four weeks of class!
My girls love being a red frog and they love their Coach Candice. I went with a Tuesday evening class since they offer nothing on Monday when I am off and even though Saturday would work for me since I work across the street I didn’t want them committed to that day so they could participate in weekend sleepovers and birthday parties.
My kids are 8 & 9 and they took to gymnastics quite easily! I only stayed for one class and loved watching them. When I am there they like to look over at me, wave at me, or even run over to talk to me but they need to pay attention to their coach and classmates as to not harm themselves or others. I run an errand or two and sneak in during the last 10 – 15 minutes of their class. I don’t think the other parents approve but I could care less. Coach Candice always has good things to say about their behavior, teamwork, and progress. The love ribbon week!
I have nothing negative to say about any of the staff as they have always been helpful and go above and beyond. I like that my second child gets a standard 20% off admission and that I can break the payments up into two. With Black Friday next week I didn’t want to be out $ 400. Winter classes start next month and they get to continue with Coach Candice.
My only advice to other parents thinking about enrolling is to call the office or go in and see what kind of deal they can work out for you. They are quite accommodating.
My only negative thing to say is you have no control over the other classmates your children get paired with. If your child has a problem with another student bring it to the Coach’s attention immediately. My kids can handle their own and know how to not lower themselves to someone else’s level but to always stick up for themselves. This one girl in class who they never meet before had issues with them each week but nothing worth telling the Coach about. But last week while on the trampoline the child in question purposely harmed my child and that I wouldn’t stand for. I was notified immediately and I waited after class to discuss it with Coach Candice. It was handled.
Give Jump a try because your kids will love it!

We love Jump! Our first experience was with the program they teach at our daughter’s preschool, but then we discovered their holiday camps, which are terrific. It’s our go-​to camp when school is out. It’s more than gymnastics — there is also artmaking and even small field trips to local parks. The whole staff is really fun and professional. Our daughter and her buddies all love it.

We sent our 4 y/​o daughter here for Spring Break camp. Lots of fun. Nice people. Good child-​management technique. New, clean, well-​lit facility. The owner, Natalie, was very present and engaged.

We received Jump Gymnastics classes as a gift. Eighteen months might be a little young for the Tadpoles class — my son didn’t really get the concept of staying together with the class in a sequence of activities, but he adores running and flinging himself into squishy mats. We’re hoping to try again when he’s a little older and better able to follow directions.
We did have one minor billing mix-​up, but I was thankful for how nicely the office staff handled it. They have a 30-​day trial period (the Happiness Guarantee), but you have to keep track of the billing date for the next session, because your card can be auto-​billed even if you’re still within your first 30 days.
Tuition and fees are pricey, but it’s such a fun place. The best part is even the littlest kiddos get to play on real gymnastics equipment — not just toddler obstacle courses, but real bars, real spring floor, and a real Tumbl Trak!

This place is as good as it gets, seriously! My five year son is currently in one of the summer camps and I wish the others were not full because this has been the best week of his summer! Everyday when I pick him up, I ask him what his favorite part of the day was and he always says, «ALL OF IT!» All of the instructors and coaches are super attentive and engaging of all of the children, all the time. The child-​to-​adult ratio is very low and as a (very) overprotective parent, it is saying a lot that I feel 100% comfortable leaving my son here all day. The entire staff is so friendly and you can really tell they love what they do. I cannot speak highly enough of Natalie, the owner, and her team. Yay, Jump!

This was the best Saturday night I’d spent in a long time. I was amazed at their ability to take a normal person and within an hour have them doing a flip dismount. You should do this. It is a great experience and the team is really fun.

Well after much ado, I give this place a less than great review. Jump! is packed full of twenty something kids watching kids. The coaches do not speak to the kids well, nor do they handle conflict well at all. If your child is wild or loud this is not the place for them. They are only looking for plain vanilla children and will black list your child «the bad guy» if they are not. I will not be enrolling my two other children here, and feel strongly about not choosing this place to teach children.
They tried to sue me for allegations I know to be true, I had to remove my original post.

My daughter has been going to Jump for a couple months now. She loves it! She’s in the youngest class as a three year old but she’s already gaining strength and learning basic skills! I highly recommend the class and coach Erica is great!

My problems were mainly logistical with Jump, i have no complaints about the teachers we encountered and thought the sign up and withdraw were very easy. My daughter really loved going to gymnastics and talked about it all the time. But she was having a really hard time there, she was the wildest banshee in the bunch and i was getting embarrassed. For one thing I think the hours were far too early for her, we work nights so she is not up at 7am like other toddlers. They only offer 9am classes for her age group which is a bummer. She and I both are grumpy in the morning. The other thing I noticed is that she always wanted to jump on the trampoline or do the rings but the class starts with circle time and ends with circle time so there is only a small window of time when she can actually run around like crazy and do the gymnastic-​y stuff. The circle time consists of singing and hula hoop games which is fine and fun but she wasn’t able to focus with all the cool things around her she would rather be doing. I do wish the teachers would spend a little more one on one time with each student but to be fair there are only two teachers to like 12 toddlers. Her teachers were very nice and I loved their energy! I pulled my daughter out and plan on re-​enrolling her when she turns three, this way she can go to a later class and i don’t have to be in the class with her. I think she will do much better when I’m not around and she is well rested.

To clarify, the coaches my son had for gymnastics were amazing, and Coach Doug Bug was absolutely professional, kind, and never an issue in any way. Coach Doug is one in a million and I wouldn’t hesitate to have our children take lessons from him in the future.

My daughter really loved Jump! Gymnastics. The coaches are craaaaazy, and I mean that in the best possible way. Coach Doug is hilarious — probably more entertaining for the parents than for the kids. But even when his jokes go over the kids’ heads, they adore him. The classes were well organized and fairly small. From what I saw, they bring in a second coach if there are more than six kids, and all the coaches are super friendly. If you’re serious about raising a competitive gymnast, this may not be the place for you. With music in the background and silly games and props (there are new holiday decorations ever month), it was more about making learning gymnastics fun than skill-​drilling. But I think that’s probably just right for the younger crowd.

My daughter has been attending Jump Gymnastics classes for 2 years now (she is now 4). She absolutely LOVES going to gymnastics and knows she will always have FUN! What she doesn’t realize is that her strength, agility, balance, and coordination have all developed wonderfully as a result of these «FUN» classes. What’s more, is she has become a better listener and follows instruction in a group setting very well. Of course, the trampoline is most fun for her, but you should see her on the balance beam, the parallel bars, and even the rings! I highly recommend parents consider entering their child at Jump Gymnastics. The coaches make it fun and are very skilled at working with kids and gymnastic instruction. Kudos to Coach Natalie and her team of coaches!

My daughter went to Jump for about 6 months, and she (and we) loved it. They definitely have a really strong curriculum here. They also have seating right up front for parents to watch during the entire class, which is a great idea because it makes sure that the teachers are always doing a good job.
The staff here is very, very friendly. The owner is always there, and he is a really nice guy. He, and the other staff seem to really genuinely love working with kids, which creates a great atmosphere. I highly recommend Jump!

My daughter has attended Jump classes since August 2010. I cannot begin to say how wonderful the experience has been for her! I began looking for a program my daughter who had turned five and has two older brothers who have their own sports activites. We are homeschoolers and I felt like she was struggling with following directions when given versus being an independent and willful girl. I wanted her to begin getting a learning experience with soemone other than me. Coach Doug was AMAZING with her. His patience and fun attitude really ignited a spark in my daughter and she loves going to gym class every week and practices at home all the time. We now have the owner, Coash Natalie, as her instructor this semester and the experience is equally good. I can call many of the staff members at the gym my friends now as they have been so wonderful. I love that they offer daytime classes, get involved in the community, and really makes all their students feel special.

We started taking our daughter to Jump! to get her used to a social environment before she started pre-​k. She had never been in any daycare and rarely was away from me. It turns out she got way more out of Jump! than just learning to be social. She learned so many new things and built self confidence. I recommend Jump! to all of my friends. The coaches are great. They make it fun while keeping to their guidelines.

I highly recommend Jump! Gymnastics for little ones. The staff is so energetic and the kids learn real gymnastics skills.
The thing I like the most are the skills sheet they send home at the beginning of the semester and the ribbons they hand out at each class. Once they «master» a skill, like walking across the balance beam, they get a ribbon to bring home and we check off the skill on the skill sheet. It helps my son see what he has mastered and what he needs to work on. I have never seen this before at any other gymnastics school.

My daughter (who just turned 4) has been attending classes at Jump! for a while and LOVES it – not only the activities (I mean, what little kid doesn’t love jumping and tumbling and playing games and learning to balance?) – but the staff as well. Ms. Natalie and her crew are pros, but they’re also patient and caring and seem to really enjoy what they do.
So when my kiddo started talking about her birthday party, I looked into hosting it at Jump! (a relatively new service they’re offering), and MAN was it ever a hit. We invited 11, two to five year olds, and they all had a blast. The staff took care of EVERYTHING – setting up, crafts, decorations, nametags, activities, games, dances, etc. – I sprang for a woman to make balloon animals (she was great, and the kids really loved her), and I brought my own cake, but you can opt to have Jump! provide the cake, order pizza, and even send out the invitations for you. If you’ve ever tried to pull off a fun b-​day party for a bunch of little kids, then you KNOW how valuable all of this help really is. And not only did the kiddos have a blast, the parents actually got to visit with one another while the staff entertained the wee ones and, in the heat of the summer, we were indoors in the A/​C (added bonus).
Right now, my daughter is involved in their Camp Jump! to help bridge the gap between when now and when her school starts back up, and she’s having a wonderful time. Every day when I go to pick her up, she insists on showing me her «new moves.» Too funny.
Jump! is one of those local businesses with a heart. Check them out, and you (and your little ones) will be glad you did.
