Joyce Willett School of Dance was voted the «Best Place to Learn to Dance» by Austin Family Magazine.

We offer a wide variety of dance classes:

Ballet — Tap — Jazz — Gymnastics — Hip-​Hop — Musical Theatre — Summer Camps

Ages 2 — Adult (Beginner — Professional levels)

Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate and inspiring for each age/​level.

Joyce Willett School of Dance is the proud home of Body Talk Dance Company.

We are dedicated to providing all students with the training necessary approach their futures with grace and confidence.

At this time, JWSD is accepting registration for its Summer Camp starting in June and Dance classes starting in July. No new registration can be accepted for this session at this time. Please register early as we anticipate a full session.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Kim began dancing at age 3. Even as a child, Kim was always teaching friends, siblings and assisting classes. Kim studied education classes at the University Of Texas while doing social work with underprivileged families through Child, Inc. She is a member of the Texas Association Teachers of Dance and in 1995 tested to be an examiner for the organization. Kim has studied under many if the top instructors and Choreographers in the country and continues to further her education and training each year attending conventions and summer training in L.A. and New York. Kim founded «Body Talk Dance Co.» in 1985. The company has won numerous National honors. Ms. Kim has won the most coveted award any dance teacher can receive, that of «best choreography» at both Dance Troupe and L.A.D.F. conventions. She is sought after to teach master classes at studios and conventions throughout the country. She is the proud mother of Rachael, Jeremy, and Cheyenne.
