I don’t even know where to begin with this horrible experience. I made an appointment because my regular dermatologist was out of town. I should have waited… Dr. Kennedy was able to see me that same day I called, which was nice. I showed up on time and was seen promptly… things were going well. They put me in a room with outdated, and frankly dirty equipment. The«table» was old, and didn’t even have butcher paper on it. Gross. Dr. Kennedy was one of the rudest doctors I have ever encountered. He spent maybe 3 minutes with me, and told me he was going to put me on a serious medication. I asked him if it was necessary. He responded in an accusatory manner«Well, you can go get another opinion if you like!». I’m sorry? Did I offend your big Doctor ego? After the awful visit I went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist told me he would have to contact Dr. Kennedy and ask him a question. Three weeks later I finally got a call from the pharmacy telling me they had my prescription ready and that they had finally contacted my Dr… THREEWEEKS! Again, I should have just waited for my regular dermatologists to come back in town. The icing on the cake? I just got a bill in the mail for an additional 40.00! Since my insurance only makes me pay a co-pay… I’m wondering what these additional charges are, and WHY they came from Dr. Kennedy and not my insurance company. Sounds like a scam to me! Don’t go here…
