History

Established in 2012.

King Bookkeeping & Consulting has been serving small businesses with their bookkeeping needs since its inception.

Prior to founding the company, Matthew King spent over 10 years as CFO and part owner of another successful business, learning first-​hand how to run, grow and finally sell it to a publicly traded corporation. This information is invaluable both to him as a small business owner and to his clients.

This transition out of the business which he had been engrossed in for a decade allowed him to focus on building his own bookkeeping and consulting business, providing professional high quality service and insight to his clients. He truly sees it as a privilege to help business owners achieve their goals.

My name is Matthew King and I am the owner and operator of King Bookkeeping & Consulting. Bookkeeping is one of my passions and I can truly say that I love what I do for a living. I believe in a life of balance and always strive to maintain an attitude of adaptability and flexibility. I believe in being curious and always seeking to learn new things.

Unlike many other bookkeepers, I have a degree in accounting as well as over 15 years of experience in the bookkeeping field. I have experience ranging from running, growing and eventually selling my own successful multi-​million dollar business to providing part-​time bookkeeping services to my clients. I am a Certified Public Bookkeeper as well as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor specializing in QuickBooks Online.

I love digging into bookkeeping records, finding problems and solving them. I am quick and efficient at what I do and you can be confident that when I am finished with your books, they will be in excellent order!
