Business Owner

Entered law school after graduation from the University of Texas Austin with a BA in English. Was the editor of the Law School newspaper, paid researcher and writer with the Law Review, and enrolled in practicums with Fourth Court of Appeals, Legal Aid and the US Attorney, Western District of Texas. For nearly a decade interviewed judicial candidates for a local public access television channel and published biographies of judicial candidates for the San Antonio Bar Association. I undertook court appointed cases for little pay to represent the poor including juveniles, mental patients, indigent criminals and others. Took on civil and criminal appeals clients but also represented juveniles in administrative hearings for school discipline and expulsion. Proudly kept an honor student and choir member of his church from being expelled for «gang related activity» for involuntary «participation» in homeroom game of «tag, you’re it.» Have taught Astronomy, RE, Lending and Law courses.
