Wendy and Kelly are two of my favorite people on the entire planet. When our original coordinator went AWOL, we interviewed and hired them in literally 24 hours and it could not have been a better choice for us! They went above and beyond and for an out of town bride and groom — they put us completely at ease. The venue looked better than I ever could have imagined it would and on top of it, they were just fun to talk to and be around. They worked incredibly hard for us and made it so special and we couldn’t be more grateful. They were so organized and every little detail was so well done — the compliments we’ve received on our laid back Austin wedding should really be directed to them. Thank you both for saving my sanity and making it so fun!

Don’t have a single family member or bridesmaid in town to help you with your wedding? Feel a little lost in the enormous wedding arena? Enter Katelyn Lakey of Life Styled Events. Although, we hired Katelyn as the «day of coordinator» she was so much more. Katelyn made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the wedding planning process. She met with me briefly six months out to get the ball rolling with some of the details. Then two weeks prior she sent an email out to all my vendors stating that «going forward, she would be the point of contact». Phew, what a weight off my shoulders! The amount of phone calls and emails sent to fine tune the details of a wedding can be a little daunting. Also, the co-​owner Wendy Prindle, was kind enough to show up to the detailing appointment at the venue and the day of wedding. I had expressed my concern of her being present; I originally signed up to work with her because of her prior experience working at Vintage Vilas. These gals are amazing, extremely organized, and worth every dime.

My nickname during the wedding planning was MomZilla. I am a total control freak so I pretty much decided I was going to do everything myself even though I had hired Kelly and Wendy. Well a couple of months before the wedding, after dealing with terrible customer service with the wedding venue. I decided if I was going to enjoy my daughter’s special day, I needed to «Let Go and Let Kelly and Wendy» Any one who says they don’t need a wedding planner does not want their wedding day to be perfect. They took care of the the wicked venue coordinator, got everyone where they needed to be and even loaded up the car while we were partying the night away. They have been doing this a while so they know the ropes. Their rates are very reasonable for the amount of work they do. So you want to have pleasant memories instead of frustrations and regrets, I would give them a call,
