Louisiana Wild were pros. They cooked for our large benefit party and had a clean, professional set up, were early and ready for the crowds, the crawfish were good sized and great flavor, and everyone left happy! We also liked the fact that with this being a large event, we got check in calls a few times ahead of the event and they were always available to address questions as planning was finalized. Thank you, Louisiana Wild team!

Louisiana Wild came through for us and provided some quality crawfish for our boil when several other places told us crawfish weren’t available. Next time, Louisiana Wild will be my first call. Jason was honest, patient, and pleasant to deal with, and the crawfish were healthy, good-sized, and tasty. We will certainly be using Louisiana Wild to source crawfish again.

These guys are great. This review is for their catering. We first sampled their offering a few years ago at a wedding shower. Fast forward to this spring and my wife booked them for our daughter’s one year birthday party. Let’s face it, it was more of a party for us and a great excuse to have our friends and family over. Be careful, during crawfish season they book up early. They showed up with a truck full of gear, crawfish, corn, sausage and mushrooms a few hours before the party started. They took care of all the food, plates and napkins. We had ~40 «judges», many with extensive crawfish experience and everyone loved their product. The only things I provided were beer, music and tables/chairs. Overall, a great time and their service made it really easy on me as a host. They weren’t cheap but for what you get, I thought it was a great value and would gladly attend any party they are catering. Feel free to shoot me an invite next time you hire them, I’ll bring a six pack.

Your website doesn’t work. I attempted to order and was unable to select the grade and proceed with my order. Either update your status to say that you are not selling crawfish, or fix it.

Louisiana Wild is legit. Hired them to cater our annual boil this year and they kept our hungry crowd very happy! The guys that ran the boil did a great job and handled all the last minute extras we wanted to add with mad skill. It was well worth the extra cash to hire Louisiana Wild and actually be able to eat and socialize with our crew! We will use them again next year.

I appreciated the friendly service and novel food options for this part of town, but was underwhelmed by the boudin balls and crawfish taco. The boudin balls were marketed as sausage balls but were mostly rice. Maybe that’s how they’re supposed to be, but I was expecting more sausage, and at any rate didn’t find them that tasty. In the taco, the crawfish filling plus the creamy sauce was good, but it didn’t come together with the rest of the very standard taco trimmings and tortilla. So, while I won’t be making a special trip to visit this place again, I’m glad they’re here for the unique food they bring to North Austin.

Visited their trailer at the NATY recently on a beautiful fall afternoon. The guy was super-firendly in the way only trailer food folks can be and the food was decent. A crawfish pistolette was okay — the guy warned us in advanced they were out of their usual bread — but it was the overabundance of cheddar cheese that threw off our expectations the most. A Shrimp Po Boy was decent but was dressed with a mustardy remoulade rather than the expected mayo or tartar sauce, a choice we wouldn’t have made. The Crawfish Etoufee was a most excellent surprise, though — we’d give it a thumbs up if we found it in cajun country proper. All-in-all this is a decent lunch choice if you’re hitting up the NATY but not worthy of an excursion in search of the most authentic cajun grub. That etoufee, though… yum!

Note: I am reviewing their food truck, not their seafood market. The truck was at the North Austin Trailer Yard. We ordered a crawfish poboy and boudin balls. The poboy had about 12 crawfish maximum. There was more bread than filling. The bread was more italian then french THEYPUTCHEESEON A POBOY!!! And not a white sauce, yellow shredded cheddar. The boudin balls were tasty, but were not well fried. Either the oil was too cool or there wasn’t enough time in there. Food came out hot, but the outside was missing that crunch. And for all that, a coke and a water, we paid $ 20. Not worth the trip one bit and we can name 2 places in town with a better poboy right off. We won’t be back.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the the shrimp poboy sandwich– was super yummy. Service was fast and friend. Will definitely be checking out again. Nice to have a food truck with something different in north Austin.

Louisiana Wild just opened a trailer today on RR620 S(across from the Home Depot). Wow! Their gumbo was amazing and the crawfish étouffée was the best we’ve ever had. We will be regulars at this place.

I just drove by this trailer and gave it a spin. Had crawfish gumbo, it was creamy and ultra flavorful. If that is what LA is like I might go over there and get fat. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and updating my review.

We had a boil for a friends’ birthday yesterday and Louisiana Wild delivered it and let us rent a huge boiling pot. Not only were the guys super helpful, the crawfish were hands down the best I’ve ever had! DefInitely get the Liquid Boil spice stuff. So good and I love their cute logo!
