History

Established in 2012.

The idea of Lucid Routes sprung from my freelance gigs as a lifestyle, travel and entertainment writer and photographer.

Over time, my friends tended to reach out to me as the «go-​to girl» when planning trips. It turns out, that a lot of people were looking for an easy way to get the inside scoop on traveling and events. Since then, we’ve grown from the simple word-​of-​mouth side project, into a full-​blown concierge service that specializes in travel, lifestyle and expererience management.

My passions lie with experiencing foreign cultures, particularly through music & food, both domestically & abroad. Born in Houston & with dual citizenship, I was exposed to the idea of a foreign cultures at a young age. After graduating from international highschool, I moved to Mexico to learn spanish & volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. It was at this point I caught what people like to call «the travel bug.» I decided to focus my adult academic career on international studies & foreign languages, where I had the great fortune to experience more than 25 different countries & live in 6 of them. In 2009, I decided to repatriate & become involved with the travel community state-​side through my work as a lifestyle writer & photographer. It was through these experiences of photographing and writing about a amazing experiences, not only all all over the world, but in our back yard of Austin, that inspired me to become a travel advisor, so that I could help others see the world!
